That's cool.
What we're seeing, actually isn't Perfectio himself. His true form is incomprehensible and is never shown to the player. The young man we're seeing is actually Josh and Rim's father who is possessed by Perfectio and has regressed his body to a younger age, hence why he looks a lot like Josh. And the machine he's using is just a vessel that he's channeling his own powers through. If that's not enough, Perfectio is a being from another dimension who feeds off of negative emotions, which is why he's invading and wreaking destruction on Earth just as he had done to other worlds as well. And because he's a being of hate, he's unkillable no matter how much the heroes try, and he's has the potential power to destroy existence.
Does that sound very Lovecraftian-like to you? _________________

I see.
One thing that Perfectio probably lacks from most of Lovecraft eldritch abominations is a sense of uncaring or a sense of morals meaning nothing to him. Though I think he is closer to Nyarlathotep, who I heard at least does enjoy bringing suffering to mortals. _________________

Soundtrack from OG2, "Devastator", the theme of the Ruina Generals.
Much to my surprise, this is one of the best boss battle themes I've ever heard in a video game. The instruments say it all; an electric guitar & drums to express a sense of badass awesomeness, trumpets to express the sense of might, greatness, & leadership, and last but not least a pipe organ to convey the sense of sinister malevolence. _________________

Glad you think so. So was it what I thought it would be like to you? _________________

The dancing, pie-ish mech, Fairlion, is back with an even more colorful and flashy version of Royal Heart Breaker. _________________

A nice dialogue scene between the Radcliffe siblings.
