I think it might be in the best intrests of this forum if we decided on a post limit for the games. I've kinda noticed that people spend all their time in here and not really any time having conversations in the other threads.

I say limit of 5 posts a day, perhaps?

Anyway, tell me your opinions regardless.

I have mixed feelings on this. Yes. There's certainly more constructive things we could be doing with our time. Conversation, one-on-one RPS and whatnot are surely more fulfilling time killers.

That said, I'm not sure it should be rigidly limited really. I don't know. Maybe I just don't like restrictions. I think we should just actively try and post less there and more across the rest of the forum.

I agree with Phil here. The games section is only supposed to be used when we're bored out of our skulls, but we should be engaging more in RPs and other conversations.

That said though, I'm not sure how limits would change anything. Yeah, we could limits ourselves but its not going to be strict if anything. If anything, we just need to branch ourselves out to other stuff that we like.

Not really that concerned, but I see your point. I have gone to fourms where they don't even count posting in the games section as a post. But since we don't have that feature I suppose there's no reason to just limit our posting in the games section.

Basically, I'm just expressing my concern over the lack of, if you'll forgive my terms, serious contributions.

And I got kinda pissed that all of my roleplays ground to a halt.

Your concerns are understandable. Ra was pretty disappointed when the Kujou Academy RP pretty much died out. I said I was going to remediate the situation by turning it into a fanfic, but I don't when I'm doing that.

But yeah, Its understandable that you would be mad if the RPs just grinded into a halt.

It;s not just one's i've started, just that there seems to be no interest. I've tried posting before, saying 'shall we do this then?' but we tend to go to the games threads and waste time there...

Yeah. Well it was always going to be up to you to start your RPs in the case of the one's not started yet. To tell the truth, I entirely forgot the Schoolgirl one there, probably as there was so little buildup that it didn't make an impression on me and then I never went back to it.

I personally don't get so excited for an RP idea until there are at least four people saying they're interested (though I'm beginning to think they can work pretty good with just three). That's why I never attempted to start my My Immortal RP as it's just short of that (and in the case of my other one, I got that much interest, but only one person posted aside from myself once I started it).

But really, as I see it the game threads and the RPs aren't exactly related. It's not a choice of doing one instead of the other. It's just that one is a way to pass time when there isn't much to do with the other.
