I just explained much of what was going on in the free chat thread.

But yeah, A Light Forgotten was a large part of what had me avoiding this place. I promised you guys and I promised myself that I'd get back to it and release at least one more chapter before the end of the year. Come December, I was just in no mood to write this kind of thing. My mindset just couldn't go to the right places for it. All I wanted to do was curl up in a ball and play video games and on occasion watch/Rp as colorful ponies.

I still really want to finish this story. I'm proud of it and I've come so far in it that I don't want to just stop. Hopefully soon I will be in the right state to revisit it. For now I'm sorry to say this long hiatus will continue at least a little longer.

It would be really sad if you gave up on it since you had so much discipline when writing other stories, although I can understand not being in the mood to write for it. I can also wish I had the same rigour as you do when it comes to writing!

I have no intentions to give up on it. I put a lot into it and there is still a lot I have left to do with it. I just am not able to return to it quite yet.

Hopefully soon I'll be able to return to that level of diligence I had before with my writing.
