Yes. Compare Hellsing which came to be around one or two chapters a year.

It really isn't surprising the TV anime turned out the way it did; there was so little to do with what was printed at that time.

Oh well, with Comixology I have so many different things to look at. I wish more Japanese companies would turn to digital, and some manga companies are, but the big publishing industries are backwards and stagnant, terrified of not using paper.

Yeah. They really didn't have much to work with on that.

I'm sure in time it will happen. I would think digital media will only grow in popularity. The big companies should be forced to come around eventually.

Japan is a nation that desperately needs ereaders in bulk for it is a nation of readers, and when people spend so long on trains and buses you start to carry books around to pass the time (although handheld consoles and music players are popular now too). However, carrying very big books is difficult, so publishers chop books into smaller segments, making it all more expensive than if it were just one book. Ereaders will save people money in the long run with their portability.

OK, I got Sword of Sorcery. It looks like it really will come out precisely.

I can certainly say this is a darker story than the original, and that was fairly dark at the time!

I read the first issue of Adventure Time with Fionna & Cake. Cake tells Fionna a story about where volcanoes come from while trapped inside because it's monsoon season. Then Ice Queen appears outside, attacking flame creatures, in particular a young flame man. Fionna and Cake go out to stop her.

The plot is close to non-existent, but the art by Adventure Time artist and Fionna and Cake creator Natasha Allegri is so beautiful that it doesn't matter. Unlike the Adventure Time comic, all that's needed to understand this series is the episode "Fionna and Cake". I think everyone should look at this sex-changed look at Adventure Time.
