Green Town, a sleepy little American settlement, has been delighted this summer by the arrival of a funfair to liven the place up. Everyone is flocking to see the rides, animals, arcade games, and food stands. It was just what Green Town needed during a boring summer holiday.

Then the children began disappearing. A little girl wandered off and hasn't been seen since. A little girl vanished right after her father turned his head for a moment. A growing sense of unease is falling over Green Town. Fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters are worried about who will be taken next, and are willing to take justice into their own hands.

So when an eccentric man shows up that no one in town recognizes, he might be blamed for the missing children. But could this stranger be the one most likely to find the children?

This is a Doctor Who-based role-play where players assume the role of ordinary people from Green Town who happen upon an extraordinary horror that has invaded their home. Emphasis is on thinking and outrunning the monster. This is about outsmarting the villain, not hacking it apart with a sword. I designed it so anyone can play, even without having seen a single Doctor Who story before.

Personality: Eccentric and hyper. Wiggles his fingers often, and gestures with his hands. Encourages people around him to look for clues, and can scan an area very observantly. Has terrible social skills and can be extremely tactless. The Doctor is above all curious and fun-loving, and a mystery is sure to draw him out.

Dislikes: Sunlight, people

Appearance: A young man with unkept hair and brown eyes. Is slightly chubby, but not overweight. Wears inappropriate clothes, like a hoodie jacket and sweatpants.

Personality: Introverted and insecure. He’s afraid to voice his opinion. He’s been mistreated a lot, and thus avoids interacting with other people. Has a fascination with plants and wants to be a botanist when he grows up.
