Does anyone else here play Minecraft? It's an absoloute gem of a game. You spawn in a randomly generated world and are free to build and create anything you can think up. There's an infinite world to explore (and I do mean, infinite. There's a bottom, but no 'end of the world'), caves to enter, materials to find, plus, when it's dark monsters try and eat your face.

It's not a complete game at the moment. It's still in the beta stage, but it's all I've played for the last week.

I heard about it (seems a lot of people are talking about it). Sounded mildly interesting.

I tend to prefer more focused, story driven games though, so I never really looked into it extensively.

Minecraft...I've heard of it someplace. Never tried the beta though.

My brother has posted a video of him playing Minecraft. Be weary of the volume on your computer, because my brother was testing out the sound quality on his microphone and recording program, so the games' sound effects could get loud several times.

Also, if you listen closely at around 6:10 in the video, you can hear me talking to him in the background.

That was nice to hear.

I never heard of this before. I thought the thread was about that game where you click on the minefield.

That would be Minesweeper that you're thinking of.

Rabu, your confusion is adorable.

Also, Toutaku and I are both huge fans of this game. At least, he was until I convinced him it was a good idea to try and build a fireplace in a house made out of wood. Lots of screaming and pickaxe swinging commenced. Which wasn't nearly as kinky as it sounds. I'm still an avid player though, and 1.8 appeals to me greatly. I can't wait to see the rest of the Adventure update.

I'm playing the 1.9.5 PR at the moment. I haven't delved too much into its features yet, ad I tend to do stuff on the surface.

Been really getting into this lately.

I made a huge Japanese-style pagoda with an open-air garden, bordering a village I claimed for my own and a huge fantasy forest.

Then I died and have yet to find the village again. I forgot to sleep in the bed to reset my spawn point.

If you have raw meat in your inventory and die in magma, when you find your shit again is the meat cooked?

Also remade my pagoda and actually changed my spawn point this time.
