I remember loving watching that...
I think I'm slightly twisted.
What else in the content made it unsuitable for 4kids? I think I remember some discussion on rape.

Oh lord.
I would very much like to see anime such as Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh and other 4Kids-adapted stuff in the original Japanese with no censorship. It'd certainly be interesting.

I loved Beyblade as a child.

Yu-Gi-Oh! got a lot of censorship here, but they did have the episode where Anzu (they named her Tea Gardner in the dub) did almost get raped by someone before Yami Yugi came in and fucked his mind up.
There was a lot of censorship for Pokemon if I recall. Obvious ones are the Porygon episode, the Safari Zone episode where Ash caught those Tauros (as a kid, I was like "WTF" before I found out that this episode was censored, it explains why the song they play at the end of the episode was off as well) and the beach episode where James had inflatable boobs. After September 11, they took out the episodes where the Tentacool swarm led by a Tentacruel destroyed that town or city where that crazy old bitch tried to make a goddamn offshore hotel. They also took out the one where that lady was actually a Gastly and tried to lead Brock and James off a cliff and the Pokemon Tower episode where Ash and Pikachu died and got to hang out with the Gastly evolutionary line for a little bit before convincing Haunter to join them to defeat Sabrina.
Back to the OP, Digimon was all right, but Pokemon is awesomer. I liked the designs of the Digimon themselves and tried to turn one into a Pokemon (because I suck at drawing, you can guess how that turned out).

Fuck,yeah,Beyblade! I recently watched the original opening for the English version and thought to myself,"Beyblade is one of the all-time greats,and if you're not down with that,I've got 2 words for ya; GO,DRAGOON!" |
