Riiiiibs. *Dribble*
There's little I enjoy more in the world than a good rack of ribs slathered in BBQ sauce.
I'll likely look forward to that recipe, if Toutaku's kitchen is in working order by then. C:
I can't really offer many recipes, but I have an incredible lack of common sense when it comes to food combinations, so I'll pop into this thread whenever I can hijack the laptop just to compliment the recipes and warn you all that marmite doesn't go well with -everything-. |

I'm going to post the recipe for my Spaghetti sauce now. It works with just about any pasta you want to put it on.
1lb ground beef (I cook for 6)
1 Large Onion
Clove of Garlic
Can of Spaghetti Sauce-Pick your favorite (Just not Hunts-too much salt)
Tomatos diced, I do this myself but a can won't steer you wrong.
Now for the powder spices
Lots of Oregano (I should learn to measure my spices for the recipies from now on)
Lots of Garlic
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Pepper
Some Sage
Some Bay
Some Thyme
Some Red Crushed Pepper.
Some Rosemary
Get a Large sauce Pan and coat with Canola Oil (If you have) then, dice the Onion into pieces (The size for your taste, but for me the smaller the better) Crush and Mince the Garlic clove and mix into the Onions put into pan. Wait until the onions have started cooking and add a pinch of everything into the onions so it gets mixed up in the onion juices.
Add the ground beef, I feel it cooks better if you break it up a little before you put it into the pan. Cook until brown.
Pour grease out into the sink. Nothings worse than greasy Spaghetti.
With the grease gone Add in the can of tomato sauce and diced tomatos if you think its to thin add some tomato paste, if to thick some water.
Now that the meat and tomato sauce have been given some time to get to know each other your going to spice up their relationship. Add about a table spoon of Oregano, Garlic, Thyme, Rosemary, Sage and Bay. Then a teaspoon of the Crushed Red Pepper. Finally just a dash of salt and pepper.
For those of us who are daring or just like it hot, kick the red crushed pepper to a table spoon and add some cayenne pepper.
Now put the pan on low heat and put a lid on it. Start making your pasta and when it's done, the sauce should've had ample time to get together and really bring out it's own flavors.
enjoy. _________________ A normal day for sheena. . .
