Whatever. I've used both Macs and PCs and I have to say I greatly prefer my Mac. It's gone stupid on me a couple times, but any PC I've ever had has been far worse. It's just easier to use. Just that I've never once had to run a virus check of any kind in three years speaks for itself, I think. I'd most definitely buy a Mac again.

And I'm just speaking on the computers. I really have no interest in smart phones, iPads or whatever else Apple releases (which the majority of those seem to deal with).

I'm sure their computers are very good, but the prices are extortionate. I dislike the company to quite a degree.

Especially when some of the laptops are no better on paper than earlier models sold for half the price.

Well, I really kind of hate Microsoft as a company and always have... Kind of why I'm so anti-XBox...

On paper it might seem that way, but I'm willing to bet similar spec models like that sold are not as light weight or sturdy as their Mac counterpart and don't come with as much useful programs. Not to mention they lack the brilliant user interface, and will probably very quickly start to perform below their specs due to viruses.

I like to think I know something about computers, given it's my field of study, and I say Apple knows what they're doing when it comes to them. I've used Windows 7 before, and really as okay as it seemed, I have no intention of switching back over to PCs.
