Last night I watched Zombi Holocaust, made in 1980 and directed by Marino Girolami. It was magnificently stupid and rubbish. Like many Italian horror films of that era, it makes almost no sense, but while many of those films were meant to be nonsensical and dreamlike, this one was meant to make some kind of narrative sense yet failed very badly. I highly recommend Zombi Holocaust if you like the very worst in horror—it's own title is misleading because zombies are hardly in it. It was simply trying to attract fans of Cannibal Holocaust and Zombi 2. It is almost a remake of Zombi 2, including having many of the same actors as that film, but with South-East Asian cannibals, more naked women, and much worse special effects.
Watch the trailer, but be warned that not only does it display some very graphic violence and nudity, but it spoils everything about the film.
Reviews that describe this movie much better than I did. They also reveal everything, but if you already watched the trailer then why should you care?

Heh. This looks kind of fun. I'm not sure it's something I'd seek out to watch myself, since even when laughably bad, I don't generally watch many horror films.
I am kind of surprised I haven't seen someone on thatguywiththeglasses.com review this one yet though. It seems like it would be right up the Cinema Snob's alley considering how many laughably cheap horror movies and cheap itallian films he's reviewed, not to mention that he already did Cannibal Holocaust and films labeled as being part of the Zombi series. _________________

Yeah. I saw the Cinema Snob review of Cannibal Holocaust. That film looks legitimately horrifying to say the least from the clips he showed. I seriously doubt I could ever sit through something like that.
Zombi Holocaust sounds like it would be a little more my style. _________________
