Hirano laid down on the top of the humvee, scanning the buildings through the lens of his scope. He sighed, things were quiet, a little TOO quiet. Looking around he saw the building he and his companions were trying to enter. "'Taiei Shopping City' huh? Looks like a big place. It's amazing we havn't seen any of "them" yet.

Looking around he saw Takashi, he was pointing at a ditch, full of "them" what the hell was going on here? Hirano wondered to himself.

Harvy Nakagawa looked around the sports equipment store he was in immediately going to the bats in shop. He swung a couple experimently before picking out a seemingly extra heavy titanium bat.

Having a sudden strike of inspiration Harvy broke apart the strong box in the room and found a gun. It looked a lot like the Baretta 92fs his father showed him when he visited him on base. Looking under the counter Harvy found a silencer. After vaguely wondering why a shop in the "Taiei shopping city" would even have a silencer or even a military grade pistol, Harvy decided he didn't care and screwed the silencer on.

Looking into the box again Harvy discovered a bunch of extra clips and 2 whole boxes of bullets. Propmting Harvy to once again wonder who the hell it was that ran this store.

Harvy then wandered into the food court and started to cook up some food for him and his companions. While he was waiting for the grill to heat up, Harvy pulled out his Baretta and aimed it down the sight just like his father had taught him to.

After cooking some burgers on the grill Harvy checked his watch.
"Damn I'm late!" Harvy's deep voice rang through the empty mall, and he ran as fast as he dared to while carrying the burgers to the small barricaded area where his companions were holed up.

"Sorry I'm late" he laughed as he knocked on the door leading into the fort.

[Takashi could not move a muscle, too terrified at what was occurring.

The ditch was full of ' them,' groaning, their mouths gaping.

He heard a woman scream and turned his head towards the sound. She seemed to have fallen into the trench, her voice attracting the lot of them. Takashi cringed as one of them jumped on the terrified victim's back and bit her neck, allowing the others to slowly convene on her flesh.

"My god," he said faintly, unable to take his eyes off of the horrible scene. The lady's screams were muffled as ' they' began to chew on her corpse.

He turned to look back at the group, their faces all affixed with the same expression of horror on their faces. Only Alice didn't seem to have a clue, but only because Saya had turned her away from the scene and.covered he r ears.

Takashi gulped, unsure of how to get past this blockade...]
