[Carline Snow was deeply upset by the current social climate of her workplace. The scientists were too fucking up themselves, and the boss wasn't being too different either. It pissed her off. Sighing, she looked over the edge of the flimsy safety rail surrounding the roof of the eighty story Epsilon building. Her time would come, she was sure of it. But until then, she didn't like this. Not one bit.

Tossing her black hair over her shoulder, she walked toward the stairway, planning to train before the coming fight. Within the hour, They would be released.

The Remnants.

--------------------------------------------------

I-No awoke in a laboratory, naked and blind. She knew that she shouldn't be here, and she knew it could only mean trouble. Sensing her guitar near her, she triend to will it to her, but found that her power had been suppressed. This would not end well...]

Quick start, but I realised that it was entirely my fault this hadn't taken off. sorry about that.

Have fun!

Long establishing post is long. Particularly in the part with Rachel. Hope this is alright.

[Sigrid Raske sat at the corner of the Epsilon building's roof, staring up into the sky. It was a pretty sky. The crumbling city below it didn't change that. That's what it was all about. Despite the problems of the world, life went on. That simple fact was why a soft smirk was never far from her face.

She could sense the panic setting in around her but it didn't touch her. The game was approaching, the game which she was so good at. She'd play it. That's all there was for her. She'd play and she'd try to have fun. That was the nature of games, right?

Smiling softly, she turned her head to the other woman on the roof now, a girl who looked down while she looked up. This woman turned to leave. Sigrid didn't know if the woman noticed her or not. Carline Snow was a very strong woman, but she seemed somehow lost in thought, like she was in a daze. Thinking it over, it seemed like she might be fun to tease.

Sigrid jumped to her feet and followed the girl from a safe distance, hoping to surprise her.

----------------------------------------------

A portal opened at a dark corner of the laboratory where no scientists were present. A blonde child walked out carrying a black cat shaped like an umbrella tailed by an overweight flying bat.

Rachel Alucard wore a blank expression as she looked around. Nago, the cat, seemed confused while the bat, Gii, seemed scared.

"Princess.... where have you taken us?" Gii whined in his high voice.

"Silence, you imbecile," Rachel said. "We have arrived at a certain... anomaly."

"Anomaly? What can you mean by that, Princess?" asked Nago in his snobbish voice

"Simply something worth observing, Nago," said Rachel. "Something bizarre. Something dangerous."

"Does it have something to with Terumi, Princess?" asked Nago, curiously.

"Oh my! Heavens no! I don't know what sort of stray idiot thought spawned this supposition but I suggest you silence it at once," Rachel said shaking her head. "What we have here is the work of one such as myself. An observer?"

"I'm not sure I understand..." said Gii in a low voice, flying about.

"Typical," said Rachel. "No concise explanation can compensate for a certain natural deficiency of intelligence."

Shaking her head, Rachel looked around. "This observer has a wider scope than even I, and yet here they have effectively bastardized the very nature of what it means to be an observer. Interfering with so many worlds at once. Distorting things in such a grand way. It's as sickening as it is awe inspiring. I do wonder for what end this intrusion on the very nature of the multiverse has been initiated."

Rachel continued to look around the laboratory. Numerous figures fit inside strange capsules, looking as if they were asleep.

"Who are these people, Princess?" asked Gii, taking in the scenery as well.

"Sad children who have been ripped of their purpose and made into dolls," said Rachel in a dry voice.

"How deplorable," said Nago, scoffing.

"Perhaps," said Rachel. "An unholy melding of pride, curiosity and need for entertainment. Honestly it's quite depressing..."

"Are you going to stop it, Princess?" asked Gii in a naive voice.

"Now, why ever would I do that, Gii?" said Rachel quietly. "I know your brain is laughably small, but I believe you've heard me say it many times. I am the audience. The stage, no matter how warped and built on ungodly practice it may be, is off limits to me. That is for the actors. Or in the case of a puppet show such as this, the dolls."

"Then what are we doing here, Princess?" asked Nago, not following.

"It's simple, really," said Rachel. "I'll have them pull me from my seat and string me up. I'll be their happy little marionette for a time, observing them as they do their bloody stage, gauging the puppets as they dance, coming to understand this whole display."

"And how do we do that, Princess?" asked Gii.

"Please do be quiet, Gii. I always seem to have a bit of a headache after long-distance inter-dimensional travel and prolonged exposure to your voice hardly improves the matter," said Rachel as she approached one of the capsules; an empty one. She opened it.

"The others are all unclothed, Princess," said Nago. "Shouldn't you do the same if you want to deceive them."

"Don't be such a pervert, Nago," Rachel said dismissively as she crawled inside.

"But Princess..." Gii started.

"Do try to comprehend, as hard as your limited mental facilities make that. The aim is not to deceive anyone of anything," said Rachel. "It's a tricky thing to deceive a dedicated observer. Hardly worth the effort when you can instead simply make them aware."

Rachel sat in the capsule and waited.]

Terry Bastion was in a long hall, resting his back against the wall. Aside from the piece of bubble gum he had been chewing on, he was bored. Very bored. The games were suppose to begin soon, but he had been waiting for a long time and wished it would begin soon. Was he just being impatient?

He turned his head and spot two women heading his way. Carline Snow and Sigrid Raske. He heard that they would be participating in the game, and was interested in taking them. Come to think of it, he heard that a lot of lovely ladies were participating in the games. This would be fine.

He waited for Snow and Raske to pass him, then he soon followed.

The mumbling sound of voices stirred Cirno in her sleep. She opened her eyes only to be greeted by darkness. It felt like there was something covering her to block out her vision. She tried feeling around to only find herself in some claustrophobic container. She tried to reduce the temperature so she can break out, but nothing happened; her powers weren't working.

'Where am I? What's going on?'
