Dose anyone own an ipod or iphone? I was wondering if they were worth getting considering I have a cell phone that does what it's meant to do and an mp3 that works ok.
I guess i want to know if the bells and whistles are worth it? _________________

I have a 120 GB iPod classic. I t can't do a lot of the things more modern iPod models can do, but it has more space for my damn right extensive collection of music.
It's pretty comfortable to use and durable to. I'm definitely pleased with it. Apple makes pretty solid products by in large though. I love my MacBook as well. _________________

So if I need an insane amount of free space I should consider? Then I guess I'll stick with the one I got. I'm sure I won't be needing a lot of songs. _________________

Well, it depends on what you're looking for. The Classic I got is more for a music collector type like myself, but some of the other models, like the iPod Touch and of course the iPhone have more than lots of memory to offer and have cool features and downloadable apps and whatnot. Might be more suited to you. Depends on what you're looking for.
Even ignoring the huge size difference, I prefer my iPod to any other music player I've had for its ease of use and durability. _________________

Ipods are quite cool.
However they arent water proof. I found this out by putting my ipod in the washing machine :C - sad times _________________

I don't think any electronics like that are waterproof.
I'd call my iPod at least water resistant at least. I've had it out in the rain, and it's never been effected by it. _________________
