Sanctuary has been befouled by the wicked demons of Hell. It is a time of lawlessness and chaos as society falls apart and people huddle in fear. Only the largest population centers seem safe, and even then fearful rumors worry the citizens. Trade is grinding to a halt because of the danger bandits, corrupted animals, undead legions, and Hell-spawned demons present. However, the abandoned towns and old castles dotting the West of Sanctuary can be very profitable for those looking for plunder and loot. Adventurers can prove themselves heroes by eliminating the threats of the land.

The dessert city of Lut Gholein in merciless Aranoch has a situation. The wealthy and beautiful Badrou, a powerful local noblewoman, desires a long-lost treasure in the deserts. She willing to reward anyone who makes the dangerous search for the treasure she wants.

That's good to hear, Rahkshi. I decided to go with something more simple, and to make up a character to begin the quest.

Even if I'm still a little worried about series familiarity, I just may go for it. The real focus is just on traversing some labyrinthine dungeon killing monsters and looking for treasures right? Jumping in shouldn't be so hard.

Place of origin: Far Eastern jungles
Occupation: Necromancer
Weapon of choice: A magical dagger that can cause paralysis.
Appearance: Physically Pisha is very skinny and her skin is a milky white from long hours studying by candle light. Her black hair seems to have no fluff to it and hangs down like it is always wet. Pisha wears a dark purple cloth around her chest leaving her mid drift exposed. Her leggings are made of several pieces of black leather sewn together. She assembled her outfit from scraps of clothing salvaged from the local peasantry folk. It is adorned with glossy feathers and colored stones that she found in the Wilds.

Background: Pisha was raised by a necromancer after her parents abandoned her to the jungle. Much of her life was spent in cave complex where her master taught other necromancers the death magic. This was her life until a foolish fellow student attempted a powerful summoning spell that unleashed a horde of hell spawn demons that killed all the necromancers in the cave except her. Barely alive, she managed to crawl to the nearest settlement where she recovered. But the demons began terrorizing the locals and the people turned on Pisha blaming her for the monsters and chased her out. She now wanders the world in search of a new life.

Personality: She comes off as aloof to others since she had little interaction with the outside world. She is very blunt and disproves of helping others for no reward. She believes in hard work and careful planning are key in life.
