Dragonforce... I would like them if they could actually play their instruments without the aid of computers.

Technically, Dragonforce can play their instruments live when they're not drunk out of their minds and their backstage managers actually do their job. When people say they suck live, it's usually because they saw the performances they did at Graspop 2006, when they were trying to spread the word about their album, Inhuman Rampage. I've seen tons of recent performances by them that prove they can not only play the music, but they can play it well.

I've never heard any of their live stuff so I cannot comment there. They sound good and their lyrics arent bad either but I will say that many of their songs sound alike because of the speed guitar. Blind Guardian could blow them away easy but I still like them

Plus, the guitarists seem like pricks on the TV shows I've seen them in.
Tried to upstage Marty Friedman on his own show.

Humph I never saw that. But then a lot of musicians act like that. Like the lead singer of April Wine for exaple, not metal I know but its just an example.
