Watched every episode during the summer, very well written show and only Hugh Laurie could make such a cruel bastard likeable.
But for me, his being a cruel bastard is the best part.

Gotta say I agree with you. House's personality and his flaws are why I kept watching. He's just so entertaining, especially when he's ripping the shit out of idiots.

One of my favourite moments is when he provokes a guy so he can club him in the gut with his cane to prove his theory.

Also enjoy his casual racism toward Foreman and anti-Semitism toward Taub, because it is harmless, he doesn't mean it; he's just amusing himself.

Well I guess that's the root of the show; watching him amuse himself.

Yeah, those parts made me laugh, too.

I see a lot of myself in that character, which is probably bad.
