Despair had taken over his fragile sanity. It was like his life was flashing before his eyes. When he was young, his life was like that of any abusive child. His mother didn't love him and his father was never around to support him. His older sister, who was obsessed with beauty, was jealous of his natural born feminine looks. She tormented him by making him wear her dresses and then bullying him. But when he thought he could no longer live, she came into his life. At first she was just a random girl the same age as him, but as time passed, he began to feel comfort, a blissful relief, whenever he was around her. She was so kind and warm, it gave him hope and the strength to keep living. One day so very long ago, they made a childhood promise that they'll marry each other and live on together. Since then, he worked very hard, overcoming any faults he might have had and pushing himself to be as skilled and experienced as he can possibly be. To be the perfect boyfriend for her, and eventually the perfect husband; that was his goal.

But they were freshmen in high school, and it wasn't meant to be. For weeks he had noticed her hanging around another guy, one taller and more masculine than he was. He was their senpai and she looked happy whenever she was around him. He soon found out that she was dating him, and everything he worked for came crumbling down around him.

He couldn't believe that she had betrayed him, betrayed the promise they made together. Did she forget? He didn't know, but eventually he found out the truth on his senpai. His senpai was a player, a womanizer, dating any girls he could snatch up and then leaving him whenever a new one came around and catch his interest. He would not stand for it. He wasn't gonna sit by and let that guy hurt her. She must know the truth!

The bell rang, signaling the end of school and the beginning of the weekend. Now was a perfect time to tell her everything. Young Zakuro picked up his cellphone and dialed her number.

[Yuuna heard her cellphone ringing, but she didn't quite care at the moment. She was preoccupied by the welcome lips on hers, rather soft and warm. She was preoccupied by the slightly less welcome left arm, pulling her toward the defined figure of her boyfriend, Shuu. She was also preoccupied with the rather unwelcome right hand, which had slipped slightly up her skirt. The tips of his slender fingers were pushing into the soft flesh of her bottom and that was beginning to irk her.

Still, her cell was ringing. She pushed it out of her mind, because this was important. She longed for Shuu to stop playing with her ass and pay attention to her shoulder-length auburn hair... She gasped as she felt a tongue intrude her mouth. Recoiling slightly, she realised her head had nowhere to go. She had to deal with it.

In the dark recesses of her mind, she heard a high, screeching voice.

'Bite it off.' It said. 'Please. Get it out... Just get it out! Bite it! Bite it off!! BiteitoffbiteitoffbiteitoffBITEITOFF!!'

The ringing melody continued, pushing the dregs of Yuuna's composure out the window. Submitting herself to Shuu's powerful will, the only outward sign anything was amiss was the single, gentle tear gathering in the corner of her eye.

Still. Her phone rang.]

Zakuro hang up and then dialed Yuuna's number again. Regardless of whatever reason she would have for not answering, he still must tell her; he would continue calling forever until she picked up.

He walked amongst the crowd of students leaving when out of the corner of his eye he saw two people standing next to a nearby tree. The two were very close, too close for comfort. At first he wasn't gonna bother but then he recognized the girl's hair. No girl in school had beautiful auburn hair but her.

Zakuro nearly dropped his phone, upon seeing Shuu-senpai making out with his close friend and crush, Yuuna. Seeing the two filled his mind with dark, cruel, vile thoughts, but for Yuuna's sake, he kept his composure.

Leaving the crowed and walking towards the two, he cleared his breath and said. "Um, excuse me."

Shuu-senpai retracted his tongue upon hearing Zakuro and turned to meet him. "Ah, if isn't little Zakuro. How goes it?"

Zakuro looked up at the taller boy. "I... I want to speak with Yuuna."

[Yuuna looked at her childhood friend with a mixture of sorrow and hope in her heart. Maybe she could escape this situation with his help, or at least use him as an excuse. Still, she hated having him see her in such a compromising position.

"Zakuro... Kun" She almost whispered, a desperation in her eyes.

'He's Just another man' her inner voice said. 'He will make you do things and touch you and make you impure and you REALLY want to be a bride, don't you?'

She gulped, and the tear gatherd in her eye ran down her cheek, darkening a spot on her seifuku.

'You know you just want to run, Yuuna.' it continued. 'Go on. Lure him in and bite. Bite it...

Another brick in the wall that was her sanity began to loosen, crumbs of mortar falling out and adding to the considerable pile at her feet.]

Shuu sighed. "Sure. She's all yours for now. I gotta be going anyway. Just don't put any moves on her, okay?"

He let go of Yuuna and slowly walked passed the young boy without a care in the world. Zakuro, however, gave him a cold, death glare out from the corner of his eye. 'Keep on walking, you bastard.'

Zakuro looked back at his childhood friend and said. "Hey, Yuuna. I, um... I have something important to talk to you about, so if you're not busy, could you come over to my place?"

'Say yes. Say yes. Say yes!'

He'll make you do things, and dirty you, and you'll never be pure again, and it's all what they WANT and it's BAD for you they just want to hurt you and take things and always hurt withthetouchingohgodthetouching-' Her fragile mind ran a course of murderous screeching in her head, while her body simply wiped the trail of her single, lonely tear from her face.

"Yes, Zakuro-kun. I'd love to." Said her mouth. She had to fight these thoughts, they were becoming hard to discern from her reality. Walking from the tree, she approached her diminuitive childhood companion, and began to walk with him slowly.]

Zakuro smiled. "Thank you, Yuuna."

'Gotcha. You're all mine now.'

They walked for a while, barely saying anything to each other before they came to Zakuro's apartment. He pulled out his key and unlocked the door. He led Yuuna inside and had her sit down on the couch.

"Would you like something to drink?" He kindly asked his friend.
