Hey everyone.

I want to ask if anyone on these forums plays the violin. I've had one for over a year, but barely touched it, and I figure I really ought to give learning it a shot. I was thinking that if anyone here plays violin, they might be able to give me some pointers and advice.

I played it for four years, through junior high and the first year of high school.

But yeah, it's been like ten years since I stopped... And I kinda sucked in the first place.

So yeah, I probably can't help you.

My sister plays violin. She's played since 6th Grade I believe. I don't think she would want to speak to anyone she doesn't know though.

Played it for a year during grade school and never touched it again. Really wished I took up the cello.
