I loved Kung Fu Hustle. It was such a brilliant mix of martial arts, comedy and special effects, how could anyone dislike it? I used my liking of this film as motivation to see Chow's previous films.

Shaolin Soccer. If anything, it was funnier than it's (sort-of) Sequel. So many moments where I was giggling like a stoned chimpanzee.

Anyway, I'd certainly reccomend them. They're awesome!

I think I actually saw Kung Fu Hustle. It was indeed pretty funny, if I recall.

I've never seen Shaolin Soccer. Kung Fu Hustle was so awesome I got it on DVD. The Landlady is amazing.

I like Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle. Phil, I gave you a name from Kung Fu Hustle to use in Age of the Chaotic Truth, Huoyun.

Heh, I didn't recognize it.

Only saw the movie once on DVD years ago.

I suppose. That isn't anywhere near what he was called in Chinese. 火雲邪神 means "fiery cloud unjust deity".

I suppose. Chinese movies can be weird with their names, and it can be hard to tell if what a character is called is a name or a title.

Stephen Chow's character is nearly always called Sing.

He tends to not name a lot of people.
