Oli was bit surprised to hear that a girl was inviting him for a sleepover. "I wouldn't mind spending the night. Just gotta let my folks know first." He pulled out his cellphone and dialed his home phone-number. His talked with his parents for a bit and soon he said bye and hang up.

"They said I can stay." he grinned and gave a thumbs up.

"Sure," Oli. "What do you guys got to watch?" He was still surprised that he would be spending the night with a girl, but it soon sank in and mentally shrugged. It wasn't like they were gonna do anything too exciting or anything.

"Haunted places?" Oli asked. He always were fascinated with places that were known by people as "haunted" "mystical" and "forbidden"

"Sure, I guess." Oli decided. "I can get to know more of Shadefield this way."

Oli waited patiently, thinking of what adventures are in store for them. Fear and fright was what he liked about horror, but now he felt nervous about visiting a possibly real haunted place. If a place they do visit does turn out to be haunted, is it something they can fight?

But they're there to support each other, so it might not be so bad. The thought of him staying to close to Jessie as she heroically protects him made him blush.
