Glorious Escapism Roleplay

This is a big project that I might be working on in the future. Due to recent events, I don't how long it'll take me to start writing it or would be to have the chance to write it, but hopefully I'll have the motive and confidence to do it.

Summary: In the far future, the dimensions are crumbling away from the vast draining of life by the interdimensional power known as the Tenkyo Dominion, also leading to the collaspe of the Cross Gates, gateways that connect the dimensions to one another. An army calling themselves the 4th Rebellion have been fighting against the Dominion and are losing, but have acquired the enemies' technology of time travel. Knowing this to be their only chance at victory, the 4th Rebellion have retreated all of their forces through the product of their time traveling technology, the Time Tunnels, to stop the events that led up to the dystopian future. However, the Tenkyo Dominion knows of their enemies' intent and thus uses the Time Tunnels themselves to ensure the coming of their future.

In the present, the paramilitary organization, Dynasty, has been hired by Shinki Industries to test out their new product. But before testing can begin, unknown forces have appeared and attack both Dynasty and Shinki Industries. Dynasty's top pilot and main character, Tenma Arisaka, takes control of Shinki Industries' newest model to aid her comrades, but in the midst of battle a Time Tunnel opens up swallowing everything around it, forcing Dynasty to retreat to the nearby Cross Gate.

Dynasty finds itself caught inbetween the Tenkyo Dominion and the 4th Rebellion, waging their war not in their world but throughout other worlds as well. Tenma and her comrades set out on a mission to stop the interdimensional invasions with the power of their new super robot, Diogan.

TERMINOLOGY

Note: Some terms shown below have been used in other SRW games such as the Alpha mythos and Original Generations mythos. Dynasty Force isn't in anyway connected to those mythos', so in convenience to Dynasty Force's mythos, descriptions of some terms will be different from the original source.

Armored Modules: Mecha, usually real-types, designed mainly for aerial combat. Originally derived from fighter jets, and designs feature similar traits. While not as effective in performing complex movements when compared to Personal Troopers, Armored Modules have both speed and the skies to their advantage and can be easily controlled even by inexperienced pilots.

Examples of Armored Modules are the Lions and Guarlions.

Cross Gates: Inter-dimensional gateways that are used as transportation between different worlds and dimensions. It’s unknown what made them, where they came from, or how long they’ve been around.

Enons: A group of aliens who came to Earth seeking coexistence. It’s suggested that their home planet disappeared and are only a handful left in existence. They were accepted by humanity, but due to overpopulation, the enons have established their new homes on the moon. The enons shared their superior technology with the humans, leading to some technological advancement, one of them being the development of the Grungust Series. However, their technology has become limited due to their numbers and resources and only few creations, such as the Real Troopers, can properly utilize it.

Personal Troopers: Real-type mecha within the Dynasty World, 4th Rebellion, and Tenkyo Dominion. Resemble humanoid fighting machines; all Personal Troopers are built with the Tactical Cybernetics Operating System which mimics human movements through pattern data. Usually designed for ground combat, but there are Personal Troopers designed for aerial fighting as well. They make up the majority of the factions armies.

Example of a Personal Trooper is the Gespent.

Real Troopers: Real-type mecha within the Dynasty World, 4th Rebellion, and Tenkyo Dominion. They resemble humanoid fighting machines, but unlike Personal Troopers, Real Troopers would utilize Extra-Over Technology extensively. Only a small portion of Real Troopers exist within the factions.

Example of a Real Trooper is the Huckebein.

Time Tunnels: The ultimate product of Chrono-Technology; a self-sustaining wormhole created to allow passage between time periods.

FACTIONS

4th Rebellion: A resistance group who is at war with the Tenkyo Dominion. Slowly losing, they fled to the present to stop the events that led up to the dystopian future from happening.

Dynasty Force: Formerly a paramilitary organization, but now a group of refugees being pursued by the various factions, mainly the Tenkyo Dominion and the 4th Rebellion. Featuring the main character, Tenma Arisaka, her friends, and their allies from other worlds.

Tenkyo Dominion: A tyrannical empire from the future who is at war with the 4th Rebellion. Now they’ve come to the present to ensure their control over all of the dimensions.

The Ultranationalists: An extremist group who upholds the former ideals of The Principality of Columbia, and is determined to bring down the order of the united world in order to bring their country back to its former glory.

NATIONS

The Principality of Columbia: A sovereign nation that was one of the tyrannical forces before the Great Revolution; now it is a more benevolent nation and now part of the peaceful united world. The nation covers the vast regions that make up all of North America.

The South American Confederacy: A series of confederate states that make up all of South America. Had little role in the Great Revolution and has mostly remained unchanged.

The Russian Republic: A democratic nation that served a major role in liberating the oppressed people in most of Eurasia during the Great Revolution. It covers the lands that make up Russia and half of China.

The Kingdom of Arturia: Originally a theocratic nation that grew in size and power in conquering neighboring countries. Its government became power-hungry but was ultimately defeated by the Russian Republic during the Great Revolution. Arturia was rebuilt and reformed into a more benevolent monarchy with moderate ideals. It’s one of the most technologically advance nations in the world. Covers all of Europe.

The Empire of China: Originally a tyrannical oligarchy that was allied with the Kingdom of Arturia but was defeated by the Russian Republic and the Far Eastern Alliance during the Great Revolution. It was then reformed into an Enlightened Absolution government. Covers half of China and the rest of lower Eurasia.

The Far Eastern Alliance: A group consisting of smaller nations. Mostly neutral during the Great Revolution but an attack by the Empire of China forced their hand, allying themselves with the Russian Republic. One of the most technologically advanced forces in the world. Covers up Japan, Korea, and Australia.

The Republic of Africa: A democratic nation that was mostly at war with the Principality of Columbia during the Great Revolution. Allies with the Russian Republic, Far Eastern Alliance, and South American Confederacy. Covers all of Africa.

LOCATIONS

Heinkel & Sergei Corp: A large military company famous for building the Armored Modules. Located at the borders between the Kingdom of Arturia and Russian Republic.

Midway Atoll: A low-lying coral atoll located in the central Pacific Ocean.

Rorodt Institute: A science institute dedicated to studying and researching new energy, materials, and other discoveries. Famous for developing the Real Troopers. Located on the moon.

The Shells: Dome colonies built for housing the Enons race. Located on the moon.

Shinki Industries: A military company well known for much technological advancement in all fields. Famous for developing the Personal Troopers. Located in Japan.

Tesla Works: An institute famous for developing the Tesla Drive and, along with the help of the Enons’ technology, the Grungust series. Located in Hawaii.

TECHNOLOGY

Chrono-Technology: Advance technology designed to manipulate the fourth dimension; time.

Direct Motion Link System: A piloting control system that uses a pilot's physical movement to control the machine equipped with it, allowing greater maneuverability and techniques that a normal mecha would not be able to perform.

Example of a mecha who uses this system is the Fairlion.

Machine Cells: Self-replicating, self-regenerating nanomachines. If injected into an organic body, Machine Cells extend its longevity by a large factor. These nanomachines can also be injected into technological matter, enhancing and transforming them into more powerful machines, along with the ability to regenerate damaged mechanical parts.

Tesla Drive: In the Dynasty World, this is an engine that gives a mecha the ability to fly. Normally, ground-based mecha would not be capable of flight status, but this booster equipment makes it possible for all mecha.

Most widely known example are the Lions and Guarlions. Due to the fact that their designs were derived from fighter jets, they're always mass-produced with a built-in Tesla Drive.

WEAPONS

Break Fields: When a mecha with the Tesla Drive gives a high enough output of energy, an array barrier forms around the front of the mecha. It can be use as a shield to protect the mecha from most attacks, but is often used offensively to crash into an enemy target and damage it. Only mecha that have a built-in Tesla Drive can use the Break Field.

Energy Weapons: Various kinds of energy are used in combat, from beam rifles, neutron and photon cannons, to beam-based melee weapons.

Familiars: Semi-autonomous drones utilized to aid the mecha they’re equipped to. Can work in long range, close range, or defensively.

Jet Magnums: Genspent-only weapon. The three “stakes” on its left forearm charge up with energy and then release it in quick bursts.

Missiles: They come in all varities, from split, to homing, to air-to-air, air-to-ground, etc.

Railguns: Electromagnetic weapons that fire armor-piercing projectiles.

Solid Weapons: Melee weapons that can be use to preserve energy for the mecha’s other functions, but usually inferior to beam weapons. Common types include knives, remote disks, and chainswords.

Vulcan Guns: High caliber assault weapons that come in one of two varities; Hand-held guns that mecha can equip and use, or small turrets built inside the mecha which serve as a backup weapon.

I've only seen 2 of the listed series (and like 4 episodes of another one), so I'm not entirely sure I'd be able to read, but maybe, I suppose.
