OK, I got three new series yesterday, so I think Ill comment on them.

Black Lagoon - Holy Shit. Awesome. Nothing else I can saay except Revy is hot...

Burst Angel - Very different from the anime, lots more yuri vibes. I think I shall enjoy this series.

Zombie Powder - Everything I thought it'd be, and then some...

I mainly opened this thread for discussion about said manga, so wanna discuss? XD

The Black Lagoon anime is absolutely amazing. I've never read the manga, but I'm intending to at some point.

I actually just started up reading manga again after reading next to nothing for like two years. I'm currently in catch up mode, but the will pick up new stuff soon enough, I think.

Oh and, yes. Burst Angel manga is awesome. Even more yuri than the anime.

Heh. Burst angel manga being more yuri than the anime isn't hard.. There was like, no yuri at all in the anime...

And there has never been anything as awesome as Revy shooting lots of people while singing a Rob Zombie song.

The vibes were there between Jo and Meg. You just needed to have your yuri goggles on. In watching the anime, I definitely felt that their relationship appeared as more than a simple friendship. They had multiple moments together that grabbed me as such. Given Jo's character, advanced feelings for Meg were the only reason I could find for a number of the things she put herself through.

I'm not recalling if she sings any such song in the anime. Of course, given my familiarity with Rob Zombie is minimal at best, I might not have recalled it. Either way, the anime is amazing (especially dubbed, the subbed version is a little flawed). Revy is amazingly sexy.

That reminds me that I still need to download the recent OVAs...
