I'm kicking this thing off.

[Arronyo Rasmussen was laying on the ground,unconcious. Slowly he opened his eyes and groaned. "What the heck happened?",he said while standing up. He looked around. "This isn't Hueco Mundo or the Living World.",he muttered while rubbing his head. He then began walking,set on finding out where he was.]

[Orihime Ino'ue slowly came to consciousness. As her vision unblurred, she realized she was lying on a hard, flat surface. Her body ached, so she sat up and looked around. She clearly wasn't home. She appeared to be in the middle of a street, but she couldn't hear any cars. Looking around, there were cars sitting around but no one was in them. Upon closer inspection, the cars looked rather odd. Somehow too...futuristic?

Orihime looked at the buildings around her and saw they were all too tall and were silvery, like a space-age city in a science fiction scene. Absolutely no one was around. The only life were trees planted along the pavement, and they were clearly unattended for quite some time.

"Oh!" Orihime pounded her fist into her hand with realization. "I must have traveled into the future, and there was a robot uprising or a zombie plague that killed everyone. Or maybe meteors were involved..."

She peered into a car and found it was covered in dust. There was also a rotting skeleton clutching the wheel of the car, moldy, tattered clothes still clinging to its frame. Orihime stepped back quickly, unnerved by the grisly sight.

"I hope I can find my way back soon," she said to herself, getting worried.

Just then, she spotted someone walking toward her, a very tall man with red hair. She waved at the person, feeling a little relieved. "Hey, over here!" she cried, but then it occurred to her that it might be a zombie or killer robot.

She got ready to summon the Shunshun Rikka if she needed to.

Hinasa Sakai glanced cautiously out the window. When she heard voices she assumed it was the hunters, but the voice was unfamiliar. If it was one of the hunters she needed to recognize her.

Two people, a human girl and man (Hinasa wasn't sure what the man was), were below her window. The girl couldn't have been a hunter, but the man might be. She committed their appearances to memory and withdrew back into the building, not wanting to be seen. She had her hiding spot in the ventilation system, and she wasn't about to share it with any one.

Get your own shelter and food! Hinasa thought. This is mine! I'm not sharing!]

[Retsu Unohana found herself suddenly aware. As her eyes gradually opened, she looked around. Just what had happened to her. She couldn't recall anything. Last she knew she had been tending to patients as usual. Now she was somewhere strange.

The futuristic cityscape before her was beyond current human capabilities. No place existed like this in either Soul Society or Hueco Mundo either. It was truly bizarre. Retsu wasn't aware there were places in the world that would be completely unrecognizable for her. Standing up and continuing to look around, she found it jarring.

Regardless. She had no business here. She really needed to leave as soon as able. She was needed by Soul Society. She couldn't be away long. Collecting herself, she began to walk down the desolate street looking for some clue that could tell her where she is and how to get home.

Nel Tu woke up with a loud yawn. She stood her small body up and looked around. This was definitely a strange place she was in. It didn't look like Hueco Mundo at all.

"Where is Nel?" she asked, tilting her head, confused. She looked around. There was no one at her side.

"Pesche! Dondochakka! Come out, guys!" she called, but no one came rushing to greet her.

"Nel doesn't like being alone in strange places," Nel said in a scared voice.

She began to run aimlessly down the street, not looking where she was going.

She didn't stop until she ran head first into someone. She noticed as she looked up that it was a pretty girl. Some other guy was nearby.

Minori Shigenoi gave a long sigh. The hunters here sure were tough, but somehow she had toppled another one. She shook her head as she sheathed Yawaniji and looked around. It had been almost a month now since she had been suddenly brought to this place. Each day was a fight for survival.

She found it kinda fun actually. She was something of a loner back home, so it wasn't like she missed being around others. What's more, each grueling death-match was making her stronger and stronger. As one who had lofty ambitions of becoming a Captain in the near future, that was definitely good.

Drenched with sweat after a tough fight, Minori decided to move and find a place to rest. She jumped from the rooftop on which her fight had taken place, to another, and then another. This one was high and had a nice alcove for hiding. It'd be ideal for resting.

looking down briefly, she caught sight of some people. A man, a girl and a child. She couldn't tell if they were hunters from her height. Actually you never could tell. But either way, she didn't think it concerned her much. She was used to working alone. Besides. She really was tired. She needed to rest.]

[Arronyo glanced up when he heard a female voice. It was a Human girl. Arronyo used his Sonido to quickly appear in front of her. "Hello there. The name's Arronyo. You got any idea what this place is?", he asked quickly while scanning the area. He then noticed a short girl run into the stranger. Arronyo looked down and saw a broken mask on the top of the little one's head. He knelt down and looked her over. "What kind of Arrancar are you,hm?", he asked while tilting his head slightly.

[Orihime was relieved to see the man and the small child, until she realized what they were wearing. The small girl had a horned skull over her head like a helmet, and the man had some kind of mask fragments too. Then she heard the man talk directly to the little child.

Arrancar? she thought.

She wasn't sure what to do. They weren't acting hostile, but did they work for Aizen? Was she in that strange place because of Aizen?

Orihime, through her panic, had the sudden feeling something was watching her. No—it was watching all of them. She scanned the buildings, but didn't see anyone. The feeling was growing as seconds passed. Some kind of reiatsu was in the area, but it felt very strange.

Hinasa shivered. One of the stronger hunters was approaching. It wanted to be noticed. She remembered her first one calmly walking up to her and explaining that she was going to be hunted down and killed for sport along with several others. If she was the last one alive then she would be freed and she might even be rewarded.

[I'll kill them first if I have to![/i] she thought. I'm gonna survive!]

[Retsu continued to walk. She could feel several powerful energies all around her. This place was dangerous. Even for someone as strong as her, unknown dangers hid in the darkness. It was enough to leave her deeply unnerved.

She needed to leave, but no clue presented it to her. A hand rest on Minazuki in anticipation.

Nel looked up at the man and tilted her head.

"Nel is Nel Tu," said Nel. She gave an enthusiastic nod. "Do you know where Nel is?"

She looked at the woman nearby. "Or maybe you know, pretty lady?"

Minori rolled over as she tried to get some sleep. All the spiritual pressures she could feel pounding away nearby sure made it hard.

She glanced once more down at the group of what seemed to be newcomers. Newcomers usually died quickly. She could feel what could be a hunter nearby Should she jump in and protect them?

She had no stake in any of it. They were nothing to her. She was tired.

But the human girl was pretty cute...]

[Arronyo shrugged his shoulders. "Sorry,Little Nel Tu,but I'm just as confused as you are.", he said. Arronyo looked up at the human girl. "What about you? What's your name?", he said with a grin as he stood up.

[Hinata was woken from her not-so-peaceful slumber be the sound of talking a few meters away from her. She opened her eyes to a sight as black as when she had them closed. Reaching out with her hands, she realised that she was packed into a small container, and she could barely move save for her arms and head. A fresh wave of panic shot through her as she realised that her precious Zanpakuto, Tsuki Shinku, was also missing from her waist. Her movements became a tad more frantic, and it took her a moment to feel the unmistakable soft movement of the suspension below her.

Alright, she though. I'm in a car boot, and there're people close buy.
With much effort, Hinata squirmed over to her front, and was able to bend her legs behind her. Placing her feet against the roof above her she pushed with everything she had. It didn't budge much, but there was at least a little give.

Shit! She thought, straining against the effort. Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!

"SHIT!!" She screamed, as the lock broke and she was able to retrieve herself from the boot that until recently had been her prison.

She spied her trusty blade on the parcel shelf. Swearing under her breath, she picked it up and slid it down the belt of her combats.

She brushed herself down, and kicked the car again out of sheer frustration. It was then she remembered the people close to her. She turned, and sank into her fighting pose. If these bastards wanted to make trouble, she would show them her power. then they'd be sorry!]

["Something popped out!" Orihime cried when the car boot supply burst open. She recoiled at the hostile-looking spiky haired girl.

"Ah! Please don't attack us!" she pleaded. "We don't know what's going on here!"

"Then it's time you know."

Orihime squeaked, and noticed someone new standing a few meters away. A man in a rich white uniform and long blond hair and pale skin, standing idly although he had not been there a second ago.

Orihime felt like something was creeping up her spine.

Hinasa cringed. She couldn't see what was happening but she could feel the presence of that man. He must have been very bored to show himself in person. His appearances were rare, but he was terrifying in battle.]

[In a moment, Retsu felt something. A presence. Something that sent a chill down even her spine. It was there suddenly, appearing out of nowhere. She was fearful then. People might be in danger. She might be in danger. She needed to stay alert and quicken her pace.

Nel watched as the woman suddenly popped up out of the big funny looking thing she hadn't noticed before. She was more interested in the latter. She approached it.

"Hi, Nel is Nel. Are you a hollow?" she asked it. For some reason it wasn't responding though. Nel was confused.

Minori gasped. Some new players had appeared on the scene. She didn't know about the girl who popped up out of the car, but the man was someone she had seen before. She didn't know who he was exactly, but he was definitely involved in this game, and someone to fear.]

[Arronyo jumped in front of the human girl, hand on his zanpakuto hilt. The girl didn't seem like much of a threat, but her reiatsu levels were high,so he'd have to be careful. But the man, he was another story. Arronyo was sure that,despite his power,he would not be able to stand up to this man. "I just hope he doesn't attack Nel or this human. That Shinigami might be useful as well,so if he does,I'll ask her to get them away.",Arronyo thought to himself as he looked at the man. "OK,then. Permit me to ask this. Where are we? What's going on?", he asked while keeping one eye on the Shinigami female.

[Hinata relaxed a little when she felt no offensive killing intent, but the arrival of this blonde man was obviously something important.

"I ain't gonna hurt you," she said to the human girl. "I just wanna know what's happened here.".

Standing to her full height, Hinata pointed violently at the man who had just appeared.

"You! Explain why the FUCK I'm here!" She was seething, and this guy had offered an explination, after all. "And why was I in that shitty car?"]

[The man bowed slightly. "This is Sarnath," he said. "A city that died long ago in another world, or your world's future. I'm unsure which. It got sucked into this place, the Space In-Between, and my people have been using it as a base to study your worlds. But we grew bored capturing Soul Reapers and Hollows to cut them up and see how they worked; for fun we would let them run around and we hunted them for fun Soon it became a popular game. So now it's a full-time sport for us. This 'survival game' will see how strong and smart you are. My associates and me shall try to kill you, and you will hide or even fight back."

He smiled sardonically. "As for me, I am called 'Waitai'. I don't take pleasure in killing the defenseless and children—"

He shot a look at Nel in particular

"—but my associates are rarely as merciful. They will delight in eating you alive. I hope they kill the weak members; I want to kill only the strongest of you."

Orihime shivered. They were going to be hunted like animals? Who would be barbarous enough to hunt sapient creatures for sport?

Waitai stood up. "I suggest you move soon," he said. "Oh, and here's a hint: Don't trust anyone you don't recognize. My kind aren't the only ones hunting."]

Minori watched. She shook her head. Why didn't this bastard show up and explain things to her when she first arrives? Was she not good enough? had they underestimated her? She sighed, well at least finally she knew for sure what she had came to already believe; this was some sick, sadistic blood sport being conducted by some serious bastards.

Knowing was hardly a relief.

[Arronyo sighed. "In that case,that's pretty much everyone here.",he said while cracking his neck. He looked at Waitai. "You're not hostile right now,so I needn't worry right now.",he said before turning to Nel and the human girl. "You two don't have enough power combined to present a threat,though there is something odd about each of your reiatsu.",he plainly stated. He then turned to face the Shinigami girl.
"YOU,however,are another matter. Your reiatsu is very high,yet you're not wearing a Captain haori. The point is,I will not turn my back on someone like you. So tell me,are you hostile towards me,just for my being me?"]

Wow,long speech.
