[Haruka Asano (浅野はるか) lounged on her sofa, bored and lonely. She hardly ever saw her husband, who always stayed out late with co-workers after work, and there was no passion to their love lives. She hadn't had any sex since conceiving her daughter, and Haruka was beginning to consider having an affair to liven up her life. Would her husband even care if he found out? Probably not. Overall, she was tired of playing the dutiful house wife.

Haruka stood up, her long black hair draped over her slender right shoulder. She was a slim woman who kept her figure extremely well after getting pregnant at 18. She had a pointed nose, a beauty mark under her left eye, pouting red lips, creamy skin, long legs, wide hips, and full breasts. In fact, she had always had an extremely well-endowed figure, but after giving birth her attributes seems to be enhanced, her hips and breasts growing larger while her waist shrank somewhat.

With this body, I can have any man I want, Haruka thought idly. I will go out and start an affair today. I'll find myself a man—no, a woman! That would really be different!

Haruka had felt lesbian attractions in her youth, but always assumed she would grow out of them. She didn't; they lingered inside her, and it was time to give them some release. Maybe then they would go away.

She glanced at the clock and saw it was nearly time for her daughter to return from school. Haruka sat back down, suddenly feeling guilty. I'll just make sure she's all right, then go out, she thought.]

Alright then. Not sure I'll be able to do much of this tonight, but I'll at least start.

[Rio Asano felt slightly despondent as she trudged quietly back home alone. She felt even more alone then she was. Why was Ami dating that guy of all people? It just wasn't right... not when she...

Some stray tears fell from her eyes. She was strong, damn it, but her school life had become something of an emotional roller coaster, and that roller coaster had just crashed full speed into a brick wall.

She was foolish. Really she was. It wasn't normal. Ami wasn't wrong for dating a boy. That was natural. It was her who was the freak. Girls weren't supposed to like each other. She could delude herself all she wanted, but even if she had had the courage to ask Ami out before, it wasn't like she'd have said yes. No... then Rio probably would have lost her best friend on top of not having a girlfriend.

She gave a long sigh. Why'd she'd have to be so messed up? It made things so hard . Though she was fairly shy, she was popular at her school. She was thought to be one of the prettier girls in her class. She was tall, with long auburn hair tied into twintails. She was in shape despite not working out much, and she was well developed for the age of 13, her breasts larger than most of the girls at her middle school. Ami once told her she could have her pick of the boys if she wished. That had been awkward.

Looking up from her ruminations, Rio found herself looking up at her house. Her mom's car was still there, but her dad was still gone. He always was. Some kids might have resented that, but Rio didn't mind. She loved her parents. They were good to here. She only feared what they'd say when they found out about her... She couldn't keep it a secret forever she supposed. She hoped they weren't too disappointed.

Wiping the last few tears from her eyes and giving a long sigh, Rio moved up to the door and opened. She wasn't in a good mood. She needed to just lie down and think about this whole thing...

"I'm home," she mumbled quietly as she shut the door behind her.]

[Haruka smiled at her daughter Rio as she came in through the door. "Welcome home, Rio," she said. Haruka then noticed how depressed Rio looked, and was beset by worry.

"Rio, are you all right?" she asked anxiously. "Is something wrong?" All thoughts on having an affair had evaporated.]

[Rio averted her eyes, directing them toward the floor at her mother's feet.

"I'm fine..." she said in a low, passive voice. "I don't want to talk about it..."

She began to slowly trudge past her mother and toward her room.]

[Haruka felt very concerned. She wanted very badly to press the issue and find out what was wrong, but she also knew that a young girl needed time to herself as well. Maybe Rio just needed to be by herself to feel better.

[Rio dragged her feet a bit, a little surprised her mother was just letting her go without pressing the matter. But whatever. It was to her advantage, as much as she would have loved to have someone to talk to about things, she couldn't talk to her mother about this. Not without her secret coming out...

She just nodded as she reached her door. She stared aimlessly at it for a while before opening it and walking into her room.]

[Haruka sat still, wondering if she did the right thing by letting Rio go. She heard stories on the news about mothers finding their children having killed themselves, and it stirred worry in her. It was silly, of course; wouldn't Rio have to be depressed for a very long time before even considering suicide? She didn't notice Rio being that depressed before.

Surely, this is nothing. Rio's fine...

The thought still nagged her though, and against her better judgment, Haruka got up to Rio's room.

"Rio?" she called. "Are you sure you feel fine?"]

[Rio sat up, having already collapsed on her bed. She tried her hardest to force a smile, but it didn't stay.

She looked at her mother. She felt so lonely. She just didn't know what to say or if she should even say anything.

"I-I..." she said in a low voice. "It's nothing," she eventually dismissed her mother's words.

After a long paused, looking down, she added. "Or maybe..." she shook her head. She didn't know how to talk about this. It was too hard. "I just...."

She closed her eyes. "I just had a bad day..." she finally managed, not sure how to say anything more.]

[Haruka put on a sympathetic smile and sat beside her daughter, putting a comforting arm around her should. "Oh, what happened?" she asked. "Let's get it out and feel better. We all have bad days, but when we talk about them we can forget about them sooner."]

[Rio looked at her mother. She froze up. Her best friend who she had a crush on had started dating a boy? How on earth was she going to explain that to her mother? She probably didn't even have the right to be that torn up by it considering she hadn't taken any initiative. But now she had worried her mother. She had to say something at this point or else it would just become even more awkward.

"There's someone I liked..." she said deliberately, looking down. "but they like someone else..."

She looked down. "I was too scared to say anything and now it's too late...." She let out a timid sigh. "Now I don't know what to do."]

["Yeah..." Rio muttered meekly. She had realized she liked Ami for nearly two years; things might have been different, but she had been too hesitant and now she had missed her chance. It wasn't as simple a thing to get over.

"But it's so hard..." she said. "love is so hard... and painful..."]

[Rio looked at her mother and took in her words. She didn't really know what she was going through, did she. She had met her dad while they were still young. She had only been four years older than Rio was now when she had been born. She couldn't have ever had any issues with love, could she?

As she couldn't very well answer her mother's question without revealing herself, she returned to the point.

"You've really been through this, mom?" she said. "I thought you fell in love with dad while you were still really young..."

Other guys were more trouble than him, and my parents were also pressuring me to marry the guy I ended up sleeping with..."

Haruka looked away. "Ah, I'm not such a good influence, eh?"]
