OK, I've seen up to episode 6 now. And it's still the best anime I've ever seen.

Tachibana Kadane, or Angel, as she's known, is by far the cutest character there, and the humour of Yurippe and her soldiers is second-to-none.

Your opinions?

It's far from the best anime I've ever seen.

It was the best anime of the Spring 2010 season though.

Kanade is amazingly moe, while Yurippe is delightful and sexy as well. Lots of delightful minor characters.

But it's a beautiful anime that mixes action, humor, romance, and emotional sentiment and pulls them all off well.

I fell in love with it. It's my favourite, and in some ways it's more appealing to me than KyoAni's stuff.

And the humour just gets me every time. Never been a joke on it that I didn't laugh to.

And the more important thing. Every single show seems to have a foil for me, a character I just can't stand. It was Miyuki in Lucky Star, Mikuru in Haruhi, and so on. As of yet, I love every single character. Especially TK.

That's taking it really far in my opinion. I still see some of it as slightly derivative of Haruhi, not that there's anything wrong with that.

It's got good humor, but it's not Lucky Star in my opinion. Or even quite Haruhi.

It had good characters, but it also has characters I don't care about. There's excess. That's a minor flaw as I see it.

Who do you hate in K-On!?

Well, I find her cute. I find K-On Yui irritating.

Also, I'm a guitarist, and the music produced by GirlDeMo is more appealing to me than HTT.

Season 2 isn't doing much for me. It's still cute in some ways, but after HSotD, Angel Beats and such, I'm thirsting for more plot.

And it'll always be second class to Haruhi and Lucky Star in my books.

I actually like season 2 better. It's really sweet and cute. There could be a bit more music, but it definitely gets awesome as things get going. And there are more Mugi episodes. Season 2 has made me addicted to the point where K-On! fanfiction is seriously on my mine.

the problem might be that the second half of Season 2 is a lot better than the first in my opinion.

At this point, for the Kyoani shows I've seen, I'd probably go Lucky Star > K-On! > Haruhi > Clannad.
