I haven't ever played Tekken.
Unfamiliar with the director.
And video game movies usually aren't every good.
So probably a no for me. _________________

Well, they haven't used famous actors. Just people who look liike the characters. It's from a (seemingly) small director, and the trailors look awesome... _________________

A Tekken movie? Sounds like it might be a box office bomb, are you sure it looks awesome? _________________

I don't ever worry over actors. So long as they get people who actually are actors it's cool.
It's definitely more directors I follow with cinema. Sometimes inexperienced directors can surprise you, but more often then not they don't. This guy has directed for over 20 years and never even approached the real mainstream. That worries me.
I'm a huge skeptic when it comes to cinema though. _________________

Not being shown in cinemas. Going straight to DVD.

And it seems to be accurate. _________________

Heh, not bad. Still, it's only a trailer, going to have to watch the movie to get a full opinion out of it. _________________

I'm gonna watch it too.
And Phil? I get what you mean. There's little point in watching it if you don't play the games though. _________________

Yeah. I'll wait until there's a Soul Calibur or BlazBlue movie to talk about.
On second thought, I can't see a good movie of either of those being conceivably made.... _________________

Heh. It's kind of funny. From both Namco Bandai and Arc System Works, I latched onto the second major fighting game series they started and have thus far completely ignored the first.
Interesting. I probably should give them both a go at some point, seeing as I love their respective sister series. _________________

Tekken's a lot less frustrating than Soul Calibur, as there are no ring-outs. Guilty Gear's meant to be a lot more metal-based than BlazBlue _________________

Heh. Ring outs are an interesting component in Soul Calibur. I really do like the period setting in Soul Calibur though. That's one thing I know Tekken lacks. Also, weapons are pretty cool.
Guilty Gear looks cool and all, but I'd be very surprised if it absorbed me like BlazBlue's world does. _________________
