I'm pretty sure that's the same thing as the "Karlsland Air Force" in the Strike Witches universe. I mean, Wolf-Dietrich Wilcke, Gerhard Barkhorn and Erich Hartmann were all Luftwaffe.

Which in turns make me doubt the profile thing I read that listed Erica as being Army instead. Unless they're from a nation with a large navy, Air Force is probably the one to go with .

Animal Familiar: Wolf

Magical Skill: Speed, she can mover her body over the speed of sound at will, without relying on her Strike Unit

Strike Unit: Horten 2-29 (The first ever stealth plane, basically.)

Weapons: MG47 (Basically the original, Nazi version of the M-60)

Appearance: Black hair, often in a pony-tail, green eyes. Full figure, with a big(ish) chest. Usually wears her old SS Uniform, despite her job change, including the cap and leather gloves.

Wears lacy black boyshorts and stockings.

Personality: When there's work to be done, whether it be demolishing the Neuroi, or doing paperwork, she's all business. Woe betide anyone who gets in her way. However, she knows how to laugh, and how to have a good time. Relaxes easily, but only when she knows she can afford it.

Often develops a slight crush on her sweet juniours. Spanks a lot.

Hmmm... interesting.

I was going to say there probably wasn't an SS in the Strike Witches timeline, given the Neuroi had invaded and wrecked stuff in 1939 (completely taking Karlsland if I recall). But then I reminded that the SS formed in 1925, so there would have been a number of years where there still might have been some Nazi stuff going on. But considering that the RPs in 1944 and she's 18, she'd have to been pretty pie when she was active with the SS.

Another concern is that both her animal familiar and magical skill are very similar to Shirley's (hare vs. rabbit and both speed powers). I wouldn't have said anything if it was one or the other, but both seem a little odd.

She does sound like a cute character though.

I was worried about that, too.

I'm going on the pretense that the SS continued to form in the same way, and that Germany's military was the same as it was in WWII, which ended in '45. (Or am I wrong?)

So that she's a fresh soldier, but her skill combined with the decimation of the majority of the forces meant that she rose quickly.

And I tried to think of a different familiar or power, as I figured it'd be too close to Shirley, but all I got was 'FIRE!!!' for her skill.

She could be a wolverine... Or a wombat.

Well, it's different. World War II didn't happen. Instead the Neuroi invaded in 1939 and conquered most all of Europe (after having decimated large chunks of the rest of the world). Karlsland was at the heart of the mass of land that conquered, so it can be assumed that even if they're military strength matched what the Nazis had pre-WWII, much of it had been decimated.

Yeah. Major rank. Given I want this team to be young and inexperienced, she'll probably be one of the highest ranking officers.

Heh. Minna's wolf. I suppose repeats on those aren't so bad though. And Minna's power has nothing to do with speed so it's cool.

I should probably start thinking about my own character(s)

And yeah, I wanted her to have rank but no real combat experience. All earned through training and recon missions, and a few desk jobs along the way.

Appearance: has very long pale blue hair with deeply tanned skin. Her eyes are black. Her breasts are relatively large, but not incredibly so. Usually wearing a dark smirk that hints at malign intent.
Personality: A somewhat deranged young woman with a twisted world view and a taste for killing, be it Neuroi or otherwise. Violent, aloof, and genuinely sadistic, she was actually discharged from the Hispanian Air Force. She serves now in the capacity of a mercenary for a Liberion desperate for any witch it can get. Despite it all, she is violently protective of those who do somehow manage to get close to her and is surprisingly willing to listen to her teammates (if only to give them some sort of disturbed response). Eats a lot and has a special fondness for animals.

Gah... been building these two profiles all day it seems. Finally done.
