[April sagged in her chair. Why did she have to act so stupidly? She would give anything to take that moment back.

"But...all right," she said. "I messed up and I'm gonna pay for it."

Mumar hopped back to Cassandra. "Anything else?" she asked. "Or take bill now?"

"We should all sneak out for a nice ride," Chunxiang said, sipping her beer. "There's not much else to do around here anyway."

Taylz had climbed up the side of the building, finding it fun to do so. She peeked into a top window, wondering if Rasyg was inside.]

"Yeah," Harold nodded. "It may be risky though. We're gonna have to sneak aboard a ship that's big enough to carry all three of us. But no worries, I can handle that problem." he took another drank of his beer.

"So what're you gonna be doing again?" Alexis asked as she analyzing Rasyg's blood pressure.

"I'm gonna speak to Cameron's military and request to have a moment with that Mij cadet we met at the relic event earlier." answered Professor Ingram.

"But why all of a sudden?" asked Alexis.

"Unyu?" Rasyg chirped amongst the two humans.

"We discovered a change in Rasyg's brain activity that we haven't experienced until now. I believe it's connected to that Mij girl, so I wish to see her just to make sure."

"And how will that benefit your devision, Professor?"

"On scientific terms, it might provide deeper understanding on the Neyts' social behavior than what we've already witnessed during our first encounter with them on Ishtar. But personally, I think it may help Rasyg as well?" explained Ingram, adjusting his glasses.

"I see." Alexis smiled and turned to the alien boy. "Hear that, Rasyg? Looks like you'll be able to meet your friend again alot sooner."

"Friend?!" Rasyg asked excitedly.

[Rosalinde's smirk deepened.

"The other thing you damaged, Ms. Quinn, is my daughter's pride," she said.

She stared intensely at the girl with a smile. "Now it's always been my point of view that a child and her parents are unquestionably connected in such respects. An assault on my daughter's pride is an assault on my pride."

Smiling, she asked. "So, Ms Quinn, why don't you tell me about your own parents?"

Cassandra nodded as she looked at Mumar. It was contrary to her character, but her favorite part of a meal was dessert.

"What would you recommend for dessert?" she asked the beautiful Neyt, smiling slightly.

Matilda listened to the two, partly distracted. As much fun as flying out into space sounded, Matilda's stare stayed with her empty glass as she waited for Mumar to return with the next round of drinks.]

[April was horrified, more than ever before in her life. "I won't say anything about my parents!" she shouted. "Hurt me if you want, but leave them out of this! I'll do chores for free! I'll be your daughters slave!"

"Oh, fried ice cream good," Mumar said. "Chocolate poured on top of crispy shell. Yum!"

"I guess we can get more beer," Chunxiang said. "I think our food should be done soon too."

Having had her fun, Taylz clibed down and hoped she could see Rasyg again the following day. She made her way back to the dormitory and made sure her little quarters were tidy like Mother Mumar taught her.

She slipped her new necklace on and pretended to be a priestess, mimicking the traditional dances she had seen as best as she could. "Oh spirits of the planet!" she intoned in her native language. "Bless our young maidens with comeliness and fertility!"

She stopped and giggled. "Taylz could use some comeliness and fertility," she said. She didn't notice the brief glow within her necklace.]

[Rosalinde felt like giggling like a little girl. This child was so predictable! This was the exact reaction she was hoping for... Now this cute girl was like putty in her hand.

"As you wish," she said. "Come with me."

"Mother!" Odette started showing slight irritation, reading the situation. "You're not going to--"

"It's my place to decide the worthy punishment, my dear," she said.

"But,mommy, she deserves far worse than that!" Odette chirped, going into her cute mode. "She hurt me. You really should go after her parents. It's only fair."

"My child," Rosalinde spoke. "Her blow merely winded you. Physical injuries are all but nonexistent. For the sort of mental wound that was inflicted, this will suffice plenty."

"B-but..." Odette started, but stopped, knowing she couldn't fight her mothers word.

"Now, if you will, Ms. Quinn, follow me," Rosalinde said, walking toward a door in the back of the room.

"Fired ice cream, you say?" Cassandra started, nodding. She'd never had the dish. She supposed the concept of cooking ice cream sounded vaguely similar to the Baked Alaska she had enjoyed back home.

"That sounds very good. I'll have it," she said, with a polite nod.

"Hopefully so," said Matilda. "I'm hungry."

Though she was more concerned with her second drink than the food, in truth.]

[Utterly defeated, April followed Odette's mother, not really paying attention to what was going on around her.

I just hope this is the end of it, she thought.

Mumar glowed happily, and went off to give the order for the fried ice cream. Moments later she returned with the meals for Chunxiang, Matilda, and Howard.

"Here is! Yum yum!" she giggled to them.

"Thanks!" Chunxiang said.

"Anything more?" Mumar asked.

"I'd like more beer," Chunxiang said. "The rest of you?"

Alexis turned away from Rasyg and the others to fetch her equipment, completely oblivious of the faint glow of her new necklace.

[Rosalinde led the girl briskly through a well decorated corridor with a smirk on her face.

"The top floors of this facility are the living quarters for me and my daughter," she said with a nod as they came to an end in a large open room.

"This is my bedroom," she said showing off the large, plush room. "and over here is my closet."

She guided the girl to the large closet at the side of the room and opened it.

"And here we are," she said smirking as she stepped inside. She returned in a moment holding a costume. It was a French maid outfit, complete with apron, headdress and short skirt.

"Put this on," Rosalinde said with an excited laugh. This girl was sure to look perfect as a maid. What's more, it was the perfect sign of submission.

Cassandra smiled as Mumar left, eager for the tasty treat.

"Yeah... I guess I'll have another one too," Matilda said against her better judgement, looking down at the table, Harold's question not fully reaching her.

[April stared at the maid dress. Everything kept getting worse. She dully took and looked for a place to change behind.

"Aw!" Rasyg opened his mouth and Alexis began taking a look inside, still oblivious of the necklace's glow.

[Crying with her shame and humiliation, April started taking her clothes off and changing into the maid uniform.

"Is this all right?" she asked, trembling in her new outfit.

Mumar back back to Cassandra, a tray of beer cans balanced in one hand, a glass bowl with a lump of fried dough resting in her considerable cleavage. Smiling innocently as the major, she thrust her chest out, making the bowl easier to take.

"Come and get," she said with a wink.

Chunxiang noticed and frowned. "While it's fun watching her do that, I wanna get my drink now. I hope the major hurries up."

Taylz had a dream where she was a shapely high priestess and Rasyg was her assistant. They kept sneaking off to fool around in the bushes of Ishtar though. Both were wearing their necklaces. Curiously, a lot of Earthling women were there too, and they wore the same necklaces.]

Harold looked over at Mumar's gesture and smiled. "I surely would like to be served like that." he laughed.

Rasyg was thinking again about Taylz and the dream he has earlier. Alexis was checking his pulse rate and examining his eyes. "You're still as healthy as ever, Rasyg." she pat the Mij boy on the head.

"Uu," Rasyg chirped before noticing the faint glow from Alexis' necklace and reached for it.

"Hey, what're you doing, Ra-" she stopped when she too saw the glow. "I thought these things were fake." She soon felt strange twinge course through her. It was very strange and it kinda made her feel uncomfortable while there was someone else in the room.

"Excuse me, Rasyg. I'll be right back." Alexis turned and left for the bathroom.

"Unyu?" Rasyg was confused at first, but suddenly remembered that Talyz was wearing one those necklaces too. "Friend Taylz." he said to himself.

[Rosalinde began to laugh harshly as she looked upon the girl.

"How befitting," she said coldly, though the girl did truly look adorable. "For the rest of the day, you are my maid. You will serve my every whim."

"What do you say to that?" she started, smirking.

Matilda's eyes went wide at Mumar's display. Just what was this woman thinking?

Cassandra stared. She couldn't help it. Her body froze up and all she could do was stare. Mumar's display was alluring in a way she never thought possible. She became lightheaded; it was pure force of will that she was able to resist getting a nosebleed.

Eventually, she screamed at herself in her mind to get herself together. Shaking her head, she reached out and took the bowl, watching the woman's chest jiggle as she did.

"T-thank you..." she managed as best she could.]
