[Izumi Konata woke up at 6, and cursed the fact she had only slept for three hours. Raising from her bed, she bumbled over to her computer and turned it on. Smiling to herslef, she began to play her game.

After ten minutes, she recoiled at the sudden message reading: "IZUMI! YOU BETTER HAND YOUR REPORT TO ME IN TOMORROW!" Konata sighed. Even in virtuality, she couldn't excape Kuroi-sensei.

"Hai hai" she typed, a general air of apathy surrounding her. "Will do. fancy levelling up?"

When she got a reply for the affirmative, she laughed quietly and set out into the virtual training ground.]

Well damn... I totally forgot you had started this thing. Ah well, here goes.

[Kagami Hiiragi gave a soft him as she eagerly read some manga Konata had loaned to her. It wasn't the sort of story Kagami would normally read; it was kind of ecchi in a way she kind of hoped her parents or older sisters wouldn't catch her with it and full of action and stuff, but the story was really good and exciting. It was really pulling her in.

Finally finishing the volume, glancing at the clock, Kagami gave a sigh. It was kind of late. She thought about Konata. She wondered what she was doing right now. Glancing at the report at the side of her desk, spying the major history report that was due tomorrow, that Kagami had completed last night, she knew what Konata probably should be doing. Like hell that'd girl actually be doing it...

Kagami smiled as she considered calling the girl and harassing her about it. That girl was surely neglecting her work. Speaking of neglect, Kagami, thought of her sister... Getting up, she left her room. She found Tsukasa at the family computer, using the keyboard as a pillow as she napped.

"Tsukasa, you aren't going to write the report in your sleep!" Kagami said loudly, rousing the girl.

Tsukasa gave a loud "eep" and then began to furiously type away. Kagami shook her head, returned to her room and grabbed her cellphone. Finding Konata's name in her contacts, she hit talk...]

No-one else is posting, so I'll just continue for now...

[In the further few hours it had taken Konata to level up, get scolded by her sensei, visit 2chan for some browsing and IM her online friends, Yutaka had visited to say good morning, her father had deposited some used eroge on her bed, and borrowed a few more, Cousin Yui had dropped in to check on them all, and she finally had a phone call from Kagami.

"Hai, Kagamin-sama?" she said in her best rich-girl accent, hoping to cause some sort of reaction.]

Heh, very well. I suppose it's just us for now.

[Kagami gave a sigh at the greeting. Konata was such a strange friend. Shaking her head and blushing a little though she was unaware, she replied.

"Konata," she greeted the other curtly, ready to be as harsh as it was needed to pound it into the girl's head that she needed to get to work. "I'm sure you know why I'm calling without me having to say it..."

She looked down. "Take things seriously for once! There's more important things in life than just games and anime... You need to take responsibility sometimes..."

Pausing, she wondered why she was being so vague.]

[Konata had figured she would get this courtesy call sooner or later. There were tests coming up, and Konata had yet to revise a single topic.

"Kagamin, a girl our age has got to unwind from the stress of work! I couldn't study, so I played instead. I'll make up for it, I promise!"

Konata swiveled her swivel chair absent-mindedly. Kagamin was cute when she was flustered, so Konata decided to make her so.

"I know... If I get my studying done, I can go on a date with Kagamin-sama as a reward for all my hard work!!" Smiling with the 'genius' idea, Konata eagerly awaited a reply, now shifting the height if her seat for fun.]

All right, so I'll start now with Tsukasa. I'll play as Patty as well later on.

[Having been woken up, Tsukasa got to work on her report. Five minutes later though, and she still didn't type one letter. She sighed and started reading some yuri comics her sister had hidden under her bed.

"Aw, they're so cute together!" Tsukasa squealed, commenting on a certain one sided relationship in Strawberry Panic! before falling asleep again, this time on the book.]

I'm going to start out cruel to Tsukasa because its fun. Twisted Evil

[Kagami narrowed her eyes as she held the phone, perhaps unaware that the other couldn't see her. "Grr..." she growled. "Take this seriously for once!" she all but shouted. "You and my sister... it's the same story, you never take your work seriously!"

Kagami took a deep breath. The word "date" echoed in her mind. She knew the girl was just teasing her.... but still... that word... Kagami blushed more as she continued to think about it.

"Say..." she started. "Konata..." she gulped. "Would me promising to spend a day with you really get you to study?" she asked in a softened voice, looking at the floor..]
