Since we have a whole fanfiction section now, I thought I might do a little minor advertising.
Code Geass: Age of the Chaotic Truth is my current fanfiction project. Based on the anime Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, it picks up from the story 20 years after the end of the anime series. It focuses on the young daughter of Cornelia li Britannia, Ava, who aims to strengthen a Britannia which has grown weak during the long peace following the war detailed in the anime using the Geass she has acquired from a mysterious centuries old witch.. Soon other characters are introduced, such as Ava's shy counterpart who is secretly in love with her, a young female soldier looking for a little excitement who quickly gets more than she bargained for, a mysterious Geass wielding thief trying to escape some painful memories and a vague evil, a young assassin fighting against her lack of confidence, a recently imprisoned street fighter with confidence to spare, a former imperial consort looking for her long lost daughter and a cheery girl unsure what to do with her life who decides to use it to prove the good in people. And others. Lots of others. It's a kind of massive ensemble cast. But that's what I like.
But yeah, it's mostly an action/drama story and such, but it's got some romance. Almost all of that romance is lesbian in nature because yuri is hot.
I've been writing it for over a year and its nearing completion. I'm aiming for 50 chapters and I just released the 44th half a week ago. I know I certainly wouldn't want to start a story so far in, but if anyone wants to try, I encourage you to go for it. _________________

And I'd still say I like them more than a good number of the characters I designed myself. _________________

I don't know. It's kind of hard for me to critique characters. I love Lazarus and Lucrecia though, I know that much. _________________

Thanks, dude. XD I love 'em too.
As well as your characters. I think they're better in a lot of ways. _________________

I really think you have two of the more compelling characters. Not all mine are great anyway, I know. I have too many of them for them all ot be perfectly inspired. _________________

Lazarus is definitely my favorite punching bag character. He's a real douchebag, but that's what makes him an excellent, albeit disturbing, villain.
Lucrecia is just awesome. Where's that Piko Piko-style hammer (sorry, Sonic the Hedgehog reference) she's supposed to bring out? |

I think I may have up-played Lazarus' villainous traits a bit from what Toutaku originally gave me. He really probably is one of the least redeemable characters on the villain side as it stands now, even topping out Deifilia in ways.
Lucrecia is awesome. Can't believe she's the only pie in the story and I didn't even put her there. As for the hammer, there's been no time for it. All her fight scenes so far have been the knightmare type. _________________
