The lesson of last week's Smile Precure!: Study hard or else you'll grow up into Akaouni. Reika learns that while there's more to life than studying, being anti-intellectual like her friends will make you a failure, and the other girls come to appreciate learning more. I think it must be a tradition now to dedicate a Pretty Cure episode of each series to these themes now.

Next episode, Pretty Cure meets Fujiwara and Wolfrun and Akaouni team up to do manzai!

New episode devoted to comedy. Miyuki's dad finally appears. Both a red and blue nose are used at the same time. One of the comedians tries pretending to transform into a Precure.

And last but not least, the return of the Akanbe eyecatch.

Episode 31. Shit just got real. Joker has to be one of the most evil Pretty Cure villains so far, yet we learn the Bad End Kingdom's goal is apparently to create unending peace and paradise. Also, Hyper Akanbee.
