Anyone else playing these games? If not, you need to!

I've been seriously wanting to try them, but haven't had the chance before. Once I get a good enough laptop, I'll certainly try them out!

I have been playing a little of the original game. I like to interact with characters and do tasks, but I find the combat overly complicated and tiresome.

The Mass Effect series is amazing in my eyes, just from the small things they add in the game, from the little dossiers and files of information about races and biology to a small magazine named 'Fornax'. I'll leave you to try and figure out what kind of magazine THAT is.

But then there's the pretty awesome story lines, loyalty missions, And the omfg everything.

Yeah. It's pretty awesome.

Played the first and second one briefly. Quite enjoyed the second game more so than the first, but they didn't really hold me as much as I thought they would.

They are good games though.

Younger Brother bought and finished the third game. He found something about the ending extremely depressing and disappointing.

My sister bought it and is playing it. I don't think she's finished it yet though.

I wonder what your Younger Sister's Shepard looks like? Younger Brother has a blonde woman with dark eyebrows.

She plays those Bioware games multiple times, each time with a very different character. That said, I watched her for a bit the other day and I think her current one is also a blonde woman (didn't notice the eyebrows).

That makes sense. Bioware has many ways to play.

I like that Mass Effect 3 has significantly more gay and lesbian love interests. Bioware had been prevented from that in most past games.

Yeah. She seems to really get a lot out of them.

Well that's good. If I played any of them, I'd definitely go for a lesbian love interest.

Bioware games do have a lot of re-playability.

I wish the characters were cuter.

Yeah. I agree. My sister's shown me all the characters, and most of them aren't overwhelming good looking in my opinion.

The creators want to make their character designs as realistic as possible, so I guess that sort includes not having every character be drop-dead gorgeous.

I know. It still is often weird to me though.
