Ideas I've had are the 2012 version of The Lorax, maybe Disney's Fantasia because a fandom-friend of mine who I just so happen to have a massive girlcrush on has never seen it, Cabaret, some episodes of Courage The Cowardly Dog or some other cartoons, e.g. Adventure Time, The Marvelous Misadventures Of Flapjack etc.
And we still need to watch Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers together at some point!
Any other suggestions or just general opinions? |
I'm open to most anything just so long as it's not expected I necessarily love everything.
Fantasia's awesome, so I'd be there for that. After seeing the 70's Lorax and me being quite impressed by it, I do have a curiosity in regards to the 2012 version. Power Rangers would be a fun blast of dumb nostalgia. I'd watch the cartoons as well, I suppose, though I have seen Courage before and really never was super crazy about it (it was always just "okay" for me). Don't know anything about Cabaret, but I'd be willing to give just about anything a chance. _________________

I never saw the ending to Flapjack, so I would be interested in that. _________________

I hope so too, Toutaku! It was lonely without you.
And of course not, Phil! These streams are just silly things, I mostly stream things I could poke fun at. Fantasia is great, I was really shocked when my friend posted saying she hadn't seen it.
If I stream it I'll be way too afraid to tell her since I fancy her too much though...
The new Lorax is pretty good, if you don't mind things staying untrue to the originals. It fleshes out a whole backstory for the Once-ler, and shows his path to corruption and all, it's really interesting. It also makes a story for the ugly kid who takes the seed off him though, he's voiced by Zac Efron and it's really unnecessary. Taylor Swift is in it, too, as ugly kid's love interest. If anything you need to watch it just because Danny DeVito voices The Lorax. In every language.
I suppose that Courage is kind of an accquired taste, as is Cabaret - it's a 70s musical set in a seedy club/bordello type thing in 1930s Berlin. Liza Minnelli's role as the showgirl, Sally Bowles, is one of my main fashion inspirations, actually. This clip kinda sums it up.
It's funny, my Dad tried to stop me watching it when I was younger because he was worried it would make me grow up sick and perverted. My Mum let me watch it a couple of times when he was out since it's one of her favourite films. I did grow up sick and perverted, but oddly enough this is one of the films that influenced it the least. ;) |

I don't think it had an official ending, but I can stream the last few episodes.
Mr. Thurop has expressed an interest in making some kind of special that rounds off the series, when he's finished working on The Black Forest and stopped doing. . . Whatever this is.

I see. I can't say I expect the new Lorax to be quite as good as the original, but I'd definitely give it a shot. Perhaps I'd be pleasantly surprised.
Ah, I think I've heard of Cabaret. Never watched it. I usually like musicals though, so I'd be up for that. _________________

Thurop said something about there being a final episode of Flapjack where it switches to live-action, with him as K'nuckles and his son as Flapjack. I want to see that, if it's real. Thank you for the offer.
A shame Thurop's beard isn't motion-captured too. He should stick some balls there too. _________________

Oh, I think I saw something about that on his deviantART. I'll see if I can find it, it does sound incredibly amusing.
Whilst the prospect of motion capturing Thurop's beard is delightful, I'm worried it may be harmed in the process, such as when removing the balls. No harm can befall the beard. |

I actually have a day off work thursday if you wanna stream Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Despite the fact I hate my job, having a little pocket change is a fun experience _________________ A normal day for sheena. . .
