Miki hugged Kokoro-chan back and cried. "Thank you! God bless your soul, Kokoro."

Miki no longer felt cold. Kokoro-chan's warmth was very comforting.

Miki nodded. "Yes. I wanted to see that new Bloodlines movie that came out. I heard it's very faithful to the book."

Her sniffling and hiccuping was gone, and she felt mostly normal again.

"Yes!" Miki cheered. She felt much better that Kokoro-chan understands and was still willingly to give her a happy day. "I already have money on me, so you don't have to worry about paying for me."

The cinemas were what Miki remember back when she was still a boy. She and Kokoro paid for their tickets and went inside.

["I like Eric and Samantha," Kokoro answered. "I felt bad for Agent Sun though; I know he was the bad guy in the first novel, but his motive was understandable and he was being used by worse people".]

"Yeah," Miki agreed. "I hope Hume-san gives Agent Sun a chance for redemption in a future book."

The seats were quickly filled up and the lights dimmed down until the room was completely dark. A light in the back switched on and after several trailers of future films, Bloodlines began.

[The film had an environmentalist theme. Samantha wad getting more experienced with her Vampire powers as Eric trained her, but the evil Vampire Onok was orchestrating a plan that would awaken many more hostile Vampires and would destroy an ancient forest. The FBI was still chasing Samantha and Eric, but Agent Thomas Sun was beginning to question his orders.]

As the film went on, Miki was impressed to see the environmentalist message handled more subtle and well than other movies which had their messages be too preachy. She also thought the chosen actors were perfect for the characters.

She didn't realized how close her hand was to Kokoro-chan's.
