For Rahkshi500 and Rabukurafuto.

[Kokoro Asagiri sat in the basement of Kotonohaya, sipping a fruit drink. It was cool in that part of Kotonohaya, and the fruit drinks were very good. When she finished she considered going to the fourth floor to look at books.

Maybe I'll get the inspiration I need to write my own book, she thought, staring somewhat blankly ahead, not paying attention to her surroundings. A light novel series of a pretty elf heroine! She's living in Tokyo, when she finds out she's a lost elf princess and must take her land back from her evil aunt. Yes, I wanna write that!]

Her suspicions were correct. With what little time she had left, she was lucky to finally find the one she had been looking for. She was in awe at the pretty auburn-haired girl sitting there with her fruit drink.

"How beautiful you've become," She whispered. There was little time left. She wanted to make this day worth remembering.

"Okay, here I go." She mustered up the courage and slowly walked towards the girl.

"H-Hello," She said. Standing before Kokoro was a teenage girl with short brown hair, reaching down just below her neck. She was slender and had a bust that rivaled Kokoro's. Her chocolate brown eyes looked at her with joy as she gave her a pleasant smile. She was wearing yellow blouse, a red miniskirt, striped stockings, and brown boots.

"Are you Kokoro Asagiri by any chance?"

["Eep!" Kokoro snapped out of her fantasy and turned to the new girl. "Ah! Sorry! I wasn't...thinking...Oh, yeah, I'm Kokoro Asagi!" She bowed her head stiffly. "Pleased to meet you!"

She looked at the pretty girl and wondered where she came from. She had never seen her before. She knew Kokoro's name, so that likely meant she lived close by...or that she was a monster looking for revenge!

Kokoro kept in mind what she needed to say if she had to fight.]

The girl smiled again and took Kokoro's hand. "A pleasure to meet you, Asagiri-chan. My name is Miki Hiyama. I've been looking for you for a while. May we hang out today please?"

Miki hoped Kokoro-chan would say yes. If not, then everything would have been for naught.

[Kokoro was deeply confused. She hoped that it wasn't a trick; Hiyaa-san seemed very kind. "OK," she said slowly. Then smiled happily.

It made Kokoro feel very sad inwardly that her life in the Muscle Cuties made her so paranoid and jumpy. She just wanted to enjoy life without any more fighting.

Kokoro stood up and dropped her empty plastic cup into the drink bin. "Where do you wanna go?" she asked Hiyama-san.]

Miki's eyes beamed with joy. "Oh thank you very much. Do you like books? I was thinking of going to the book store on the fourth floor. Or do you want to go play some games at the arcade?"

She observed their surroundings as she talked. Was Kokoro-chan alone? If so then good; No Shiozaki to intrude this time.

Miki turned back to look at Kokoro-chan. "This might be a bit hard to believe, Asagiri-san, but we've once met a long time ago. You probably don't remember it though."

Kokoro's answer was satisfying enough. "Okay, book store it is." Without thinking, she took the auburn girl's hand and walked her towards the escalators.

'I can't believe it. I'm holding Kokoro-chan's hand. Does she mind though? I hope she doesn't.'

What does she mean? How did we meet before?

"I..." Miki hesitated. That question was a bit hard to answer. "I wanted to see if you still lived here in Shizuoka Town. I was told it was a one in a million chance, but I guess since I have found you, Lady Luck must be smiling on me today." She laughed.

They were now on the fourth floor and the book store was up ahead. Miki turned back to Kokoro-chan and said "And look at you, Asagiri-san. You've grown into quite a beauty."

Miki frowned a little. "It'll be okay. I'm not gonna do anything bad to you. Let's just have fun for now."

Miki looked down and bit her lip. She felt very bad, seeing that she's confusing Kokoro who is now upset. She guess there was no use hiding it; her act seemed very easy to see through anyway.

"Is there a place... where we can talk in private?" She asked quietly.
