I recieved minor damage to the muscle that I still have. (OMG that grammer) Even though the Handicap isn't that big I wouldn't feel comfortable in the ring with my leg. I can't push myself any longer than 2 minutes, then I'm out of commision for about 5 while it loosens back up.

I could never go pro, but I really should push myself back into shape. Being 50 LBS over my boxing weight can't be helping my leg. . .

Oh, that sucks. Well, at least you can continue to box, if only for fun.

From some of the matches I've watched it could get pretty brutal. Has anyone you know of died from boxing? As in, during a round, the guy gets a blow to the head and he dies?

No one I knew. There is some kind of DVD out about some kid of a world famous boxer who got pushed into a match he couldn't win. Then got beat to death in the ring because his father wouldn't let anyone call the match but thats nothing to do with me.

I've been teaching my friends the basics of boxing since middle school. It always helps because I was a nerd (Albiet a buff nerd) and so were my friends. When anyone picked on them when I wasn't around I wanted them to defend themselves.
