Very pleasing anime watching day for me. Which might be a bad thing. The more these shows please me the less likely I am to ultimately drop any of them after all...

Lotte's Toy. I love Mercelída. Like seriously. Depraved shota-raping, harem-having succubus queen that she is. Despite it all she seems strangely warm, and human. She's also just plain hot. There are a lot of hotties this season, but she's definitely within the very top tier for me. Also of note, Naoya makes a surprisingly hot trap. The humor was on, the emotions were real and I love how the plot is advancing so far. I just love this show.

Deadman Wonderland. All right, so now were entering into the meat of Deadman Wonderland, the G-Block/Carnival Corpse stuff. Tamaki might be the most evil character of the season. God is he a cold, despicable bastard. I love it. Helps that Ganta comes across as a strikingly realistic kid in my opinion. As usual, not much to say as I remember much of it from when I read the manga. But yeah, well animated, fun, and just cool.

30-Sai. This show remains quite naughty. The masturbation jokes were jus overblown enough to work to an extent. I really like the sex goddess helping the female lead. They're fun. Love the older sister. Moe. So is the little trap brother of the guy ones though. It remains utterly without substance, but what the hell. Minus the opening and ending it was just ten minutes of my life and I was smiling through most of it.

Nichijou. The scene with the principal and the deer was just complete brilliance. Some of the segments in this episode didn't work quite as well as usual for me, but that one excuses it all as that was just the most bizarre, hilarious thing I've seen in some time. Less Nano and Hakase this week. Bleh to that. Their cockroach scene was pretty fun though. Nano kind of reminds me of my sister when it comes to those things. The final scene was also memorable and excellent. Worst camping trip ever. Unless you're Mai. She's so awesome.

Hanasaku Iroha. So this remains most enjoyable. Nako sure looks nice in her sexy outfit... The characters remain likable and are getting fleshed out more. The humor is good. I can sort of see a little of what's in store. Seems that Tohru guy Minko likes is going to fall for Ohana. Nothing wrong with romantic triangles though. I just wish he was a more interesting character. Ohana's uncle seems poised for more character development too. I kind of suspect he has ulterior motives in wanting to keep that hot yet bitchy chick who makes use of gratuitous incorrect English around.

A-Channel. It's the beach episode. There's always a beach episode. But yeah, here I think this is my favorite episode yet. The humor has been a little flat before, but this was actually pretty hilarious. Tooru's unintentional nudity, her reaction to getting a swimsuit previously worn by Run, her reaction to finding out it's from when she was grade school, there were just a lot more laughs than usual. Plus there's the obvious benefit of a beach episode... One thing I feel a need to mention is these insert song montages though. They seem entirely pointless. Sure, they're kidn of cute, but it comes off kind of like episode filler. If there were one or two I wouldn't complain but there's been one like every episode now. K-On! was a similar show and it was actually about music... and it had nowhere near this many insert songs by this point in the show.

Maria Holic Alive. As I said before, last few eps were kind of weak to me. This one was funnier. There were still a number of jokes that fell flat, but for the most part I was laughing. I want to meet Kanako's genius older sister. I love the Mariya sung OP used this time out. I mean the usual one is a lot of fun too, but this was just cute and amusing. not much to really say beyond that. Kanako looks hot with long hair. She should keep it. And keep the bangs down. Ryuken on the other hand... probably keep it short. Suits her better.

Han Zemi. So this is a first for this show. Nothing in this episode was disgusting to me. This big breasted delinquent girl is probably my favorite character of the bunch. She's fairly down to earth and just cute. This episode was just her and the grumpy pervert guy. It made me laugh a few times. I can't really name much of importance that happened, but it was enjoyable. ANd not feeling my stomach turn a little the whole way through was a plus.

Sengoku Otome. This show must have been listening to me, because it upped the yuri just a touch. Akechi's blushes and smiles and just overall devotion to her master are telling to me. If that weren't enough, I see jealousy creeping in in regards to Hideyoshi. Aww, Akechi, your yuri crush is sweet. Much of the rest of the episode was inconsequential. the reveal at the end with Masamune was the only other thing of note. That's fun. She's really hot. I guess this is the combination of the world she wanted to see and the one Hideyoshi did. Or something. Either way, love it.

X-Men. Still pretty strong. Hisako is cute. I liked her fight with Cyclops. Speaking of him, he sure is a jerk. I think that's just his character, and I know I can't fully blame him considering, but still... Heh. Emma's X-Men outfit is hot. The examination of her past felt rushed to the point of feeling a little needless. But, eh. Still overall good episode.

World God Only Knows 2. So the start of a new arc. This girl does seem rather plain and background character like. I wonder what secrets she harbors? Not much to impress me in this episode to tell the truth. It was good, but not the most exciting start to an arc ever. The ending, which returns to a previous conquest is kind of interesting though. One of the things I didn't like about this show is that it kind of abandons the girls once they're arcs are completed. I'm curious to see how she's incorporated again.

Dog Days. I really loved the ending twist. An image that grim and threatening was definitely needed. The show still feels a touch unbalanced even with that. The hero is so far able to master anything he tries with ease and so far there has been no legitimate threat of any sort. But for action, art direction and character design this show excels. I'm becoming increasingly optimistic this will turn out to be a good series even if I can't commit to it just yet.

And now essentially the other half of my anime is watched:

Steins;Gate: so the big thing here is hot cellphone meganeko chick ends up as lab member 5. Not unsurprising. She's cute. Not really my type, but I do have to say she is undeniably hot. It's even more apparent now part time worker girl is from the future, I think. Other than that, what to say... I love Daru's perverted comments. That amuses me. As does the antics of the characters in general. The show remains a delight.

Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko: This show is now in direct competition with Steins;Gate and Nichijou for the top spot with me. It's just awesome. It's funny, it's down to Earth, and it's moe as all hell. Seriously, I think this strikes more moe points with me than anything else this season and that includes Nichijou and A channel. I think it's how the characters are drawn. They're just so cute. And the girls are just so delightfully demented. Meme and Erio both look delicious in twintails. I love those to so much. Here's hoping some mother/daughter incest yuri doujins are made. That would just win so much.

Seikon no Qwaser II: I watched episode 3, not 4 which SubDESU just released today (I'll watch that with the next group, I suppose). Hana, do I ever love you. Best bathing scene ever. And the show even decided to remind us it's an action series by having the first Qwaser battle of the season. Nice, but that's not what I watch for. Speaking of which, Katja! Yay. I still love her. Her new hair design is fun. It's good seeing her in action again.

AnoHana: Hmm. Good episode. I have surprisingly little sense of what this anime is building to. That could be a good thing. It seems to be using its characters well enough so far though, and it's definitely enjoyable. Not really that much to say about it beyond that though.

C: This show remains very intriguing. The fights are exciting, and I like how the ultimate motives of the characters remain in question. Mashyu is really cute. Love her. Again, I don't have too many comments to make. I'm enjoying the ride.

Tiger & Bunny: I don't know what to think about the flamboyantly gay super hero named after my favorite game series. He kind of amuses me. Really a silly character, but that's what makes things kind of fun. I like the deepening of the plot here. Some sort of organization or something connected to Barnaby's dark past. Sounds intriguing. The show remains exciting and amusing. Eager to see where the plot goes.

Hidan no Aria: A fun little conclusion to this little arc, I think. Aria is cute. Wasn't expect a kiss just yet, but that's fun. It was exciting, suspenseful and definitely enjoyable. Interested to see what adventure is next now that Kinji and Aria are partners? Still go after Riko or turn to something else for a while? Either way, I'm definitely in.

A-Channel: It really is growing on me in terms of humor. The final joke in particular really got me this time. Fun. I think part of the problem this show continues to have is there isn't really a huge stand out in the cast for me like there usually is in this sort of show. There's no Mugi or Kagami for me.Tooru is the closest, but I'm just not sure she'll ever be on that same level. Still, I do enjoy this. Again with the pointless insert song montage sequence though? Seriously still don't see the point.

I'm rather enjoying this season so far. So much sexiness all over the place. But I think it's looking about like this over all for me.

9: Erio Touwa - Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko

10: Meiko Honma - AnoHana (her ghost form isn't super pie-ish, but there are enough flashbacks for her to make the list, I think)

1: Mariya Shidou - Maria Holic 2
2: Aleksander "Alexandra" Hel - Seikon no Qwaser II

Can never stop watching anime... Watched more last night and this morning.

Deadman Wonderland - Exciting little fight here. I love the darkness depravity of this show. Hard not to squirm a little as a guy's eye is torn from its socket. I'm kind of glad they didn't show too much. Shiro is such a little badass. Love her.

Hanasaku Iroha - I think Tomoe might be my favorite character now. Seriously, she's just fun. This episode did a delightful job of expanding and highlighting her character. It was just fun. Beyond that, not much to say. I suppose it didn't really add much of anything to the overall Ohana centric main plot. Despite that, it was one of my favorite episodes so far.

Seikon no Qwaser II - oh, dear Katja, how I have missed you. Her new slave Ayame is just adorable too. Of the new characters, she's probably my favorite (though Miyuki definitely has her appeal too). Katja might have been even more ruthless with Ayame than she is with Hana, what with the urination element. That was kind of... But yeah, I'll be interested to see how the dynamic works when Hana returns. I often have to wonder what Aya Hirano must be thinking while playing Katja. I bet it's a fun role for her.

X-Men - Aw, poor Storm. You were the only one who did not have any important moment in the big centerpiece fight this episode. Beast changed the battle's tide, Emma broke the enemy's defenses, Armor held the enemy still while Cyclops landed the decisive blow, then Wolverine provided the finishing strike. Storm did nothing. Actually I can't think of much Storm has done this entire series. She's done little in the fights and contributed little to the plot. It's like she's just there to look hot (which she does do a good job of at least). Other than that, not too much to say about the episode. It was good, with all the stylish action I've come to expect.

Sengoku Otome - I suppose I might not have been the only one expressing a strong desire to see more lesbianism in my anime set in an exclusively female world, because this episode almost felt like they were trying to compensate for the relative lack of it in the episodes before. This episode was brilliant and delivered wonderfully on the yuri front. Wonderful. After this it really is kind of beginning to feel like Hideyoshi is kind of falling for Nobunaga. That would be a fun twist.

Tiger & Bunny - I'm not really very fond of Barnaby still. I might never be. He really comes across as a jerk, and a fairly hypocritical one at that. Blue Rose sure is fun too, Tiger is just such a likable lead that this show really delivers for me. It's a well paced, exciting show that's really just a lot of fun. I am very intrigued by this Lunatic character who appears to be something between a super villain and a rogue superhero with his own agenda. Either way, he seems suitably crazy.

Maria Holic Alive- so here we have an episode without Kanako. It almost didn't work. In fact, I wasn't very fond of the first half which seemed to just rehash earlier gags again that I didn't find super funny in the first place. The second half was saved by some rather brilliant material courtesy of Father Kanae. He fills the gap left by Kanako as the hapless, ever tortured idiot. His half was much better. I particularly loved the bit with Shizu. It was good to see her again. The Matsurika opening was really cute too.

Hen Zemi - more horribly perverted humor. Some of it worked. Some of it was kind of disgusting. Usual Hen Zemi, I suppose.

The World God Only Knows 2 - this was a cute episode. I love the effort to keep the show creative. Having a girl fall for Keim while he's not only not interested in her even more than usual, but trying to lead her to another guy is a fun idea. Looking forward to how the arc ends.

30-sai - More frivolous, fairly pointless ecchi fluff. Some good humor. Some kind of stupid. Again nothing to really say about it.

Lotte's Toy - Well, the obvious solution to the current predicament is to have Asuha open the gate. I mean, she can do that right? But yeah, this was cute. Lotte gets jealous of all the others taking up all of Naoya's time. It was all fun. Eager to see where it goes from here.

Nichijou - this show continues to amaze me. It might have better, more consistent humor than Lucky Star. The opening sequence was just odd, and then when it connected into the main story in a way that made absolutely no sense, I couldn't help but laugh. I think every segment this week made me laugh actually. And so Nano and the school girls were on screen at the same time finally. They were this close to meeting. That should be fun. Hardly any Mai this week, but the comedy was brilliant even without her. Great stuff.

Watched at least one episode of pretty much everything. I'll keep it brief this time.

Deadman Wonderland: I had forgotten about Minatsuki and how awesome she was. Pretty intense and fun.

X-Men: Oh? So the plot thickens? An ex-girlfriend of Professor X? Color me intrigued. Storm continues to be completely ineffectual. That still kind of bugs me. But ah well. Very little action for this show this episode, but it was still interesting.

[C]: Oh, do I love this jennifer character. Her scene in the car was just so charming and quirky. Mashyu is lovable tsundere too. Good episode for the female characters in other work.

Hidan no Aria: Speaking of lovable tsundere... Though really, I suppose this is more about the miko chick. I like her more than I thought I would. She seemed like an all too typical childhood friend type at first, but seeing her wave a sword around like that, she's actually pretty lovable.

Sengoku Otome: Er... wow... Is this show on the exponential yuri graph or something? I said in the last post that I thought Hideyoshi might be falling for Nobunaga, and well this seems to almost go as far as to confirm it based on Hideyoshi's reactions. Suddenly this is steps away from being a yuri anime...And I love it.

Tiger & Bunny: So Lunatic is an anti hero type after all. A ruthless sort of Light Yagami type with a messed up sense of justice. Fun. Origami Cyclone is a little bit angsty for my tastes. Not going to be a favorite. I'm excited as it seems we'll be learning mroe about Dragon Kid next.

Ano Hana: This episode had some rather effective moments. it does know what strings to pull. It seems to be the show of the season getting a lot of the hype, and while it's never going to be my favorite, I can at least sort of see why.

30-sai and Hen Zemi: I have nothing I can really say abotu either of these. Substance less but brief.

Softenni: The translators fell behind on this one, so I had three eps to watch. The amount of tennis has increased, yet the show remains a joy. The humor is consistent and the entire cast is lovable. I'm beginning to really love Asuna and her ero-delusions, especially since said delusions are usually about girls.

Dog Days: Eh, it was kind of cute, kind of dry. Not a lot happened and what did happen unfolded with inevitability. Not too much to really say.

A-Channel: Okay, this is a better way to do insert songs, make them actually a part of the story. The Karaoke scene worked. Tooru was adorable in it. Actually most of this episode worked. The humor was tighter and the moe moments were cuter.

Hanasaku Iroha: wow, color me impressed. never expected this show to work up such a level of successful drama. I was so wrapped up in it, i was surprised the episode had ended when it did, a first for this show. I applaud it on that.

Lotte's Toy: A cute episode and a good conclusion to last weeks. I love how this show seems to tackle the idea or love and affection. It's completely apparent that what Lotte needs Naoya for is parental love which her mother, despite being full of, is not able to adequately express. But Lotte's confused and doesn't even realize it herself and tries to be mature. Naoya of course seems to see through it all masterfully. This show is just good. Well written and delightful.

Seikon no Qwaser II: I love Mafuyus's sexy new outfit. I guess it's kind of good to see her, but in truth I didn't miss her all that much. She just doesn't add much to the show. I'm usually the first to praise when this sort of show utilizes a female protagonist, but in this instance, it really might be better off with the focus actually on Aleksander. I loved Ayame's first encounter with Hana; that was just fun. I wonder what sort of relationship will develop between Katja's two slaves...

Maria Holic 2: This might have been the best episode of the second season so far. It was Kanako at her absolute best. Lots of yuri delusions and silliness. Not much Mariya, but instead we had Shizu who really is awesome. I kind of think Kanako/Shizu would be a fun couple. I'm not sure where this sexy lesbian coach came from but she's awesome and I'd love to see more of her. This single episode reminded me just how much fun this show could be when it really tried. For that I'm glad.

Dennpa Ona to Seishun Otoko: This show just makes me smile. it's immersive and I never expect when the episodes finally end. The characters are just so whimsical and odd. It was good to see the girls of the show interact some for once. I honestly can't wait to see how it develops from here.

The World God Only Knows 2: Aw, this was quite poignant really. Beautiful end to this one. This girl ultimately did come off as one of the most special and lovable of any of Keima's targets so far. I do hope she remains a presence in the show.

Steins;Gate: I watched two episodes. The plot is kicking into high gear, huh? Interesting. I am completely and totally intrigued. It's just engrossing. I do kind of have to agree with Daru though. Ruka being a trap does "make it better". I hope this latest development somehow gets undone at some point. Still, fascinating stuff here. Love it.

Nichijou: this episode was a bit of a let down. I've taken to saving this show for last. I always save my favorites for last because I want them to stay with me when I'm done. I saved Madoka Magica for last for instance So yeah, it doesn't feel good when what I love enough to save for last disappoints. This just wasn't as funny as earlier episodes. I suppose some bits worked. I liked the last one with Nano, and there were a few other little moments that worked, but really there was more here that didn't. The first scene was mostly unfunny. I think partly it's that the puns didn't translate well; I mean as it was, the blank reactions they received made perfect sense as there just wasn't anything funny there at all; they perfectly mirrored the expression on my own face, I'm sure. The pay off to the isolation scene in the middle was far too little as well. That scene seemed to drag forever, and what we got was kind of silly and made me smile a while, but I really did expect more with all that build up. I also don't really get what's supposed to be all that funny about these soccer club people at all. They just seem kind of boring and their bits never seem to work for me. It was a thoroughly mediocre episode ultimately. I still love this show, I just want it so much to be better than this. I mean, prior to this it's done nothing but impress me.

We're up to about 7-9 of everything.

This isn't really a good season to take long breaks from considering there are so many shows.

And I am done. I have caught up with my spring anime shows. Granted, there are still some pre-spring shows i need to catch up on, but as they've already been waiting this long, those can wait some more.

I also unfortunately had to drop some shows. it kind of pained me to do, since I liked everything for the most part, but getting behind was my downfall, and I just wasn't going to catch up. I had to drop Hanasaku Iroha, AnoHana, Dog Days, 30-Sai and Hen Zemi. I'd love to see some of these (and most especially Hanasaku Iroha) on DVD someday or something. But here, I just couldn't get as excited about them as everything else.

Most series are also done, so I'll just provide some quick final words on the ones that are.

X-Men: Yeah. It turned out much better than I thought and it leaves me eager to see Blade. Not a perfect show by any stretch, but it had great animation and lots of stylish action. The story wasn't terrible either, exactly. I do question the decision to turn Storm into a useless token chick character though I'm also kind of confused about the character of Emma Frost in general considering how completely different she was here from in X-Men: Last Stand. The series seemed to end on a sequel hook, showing the prison cell of Magneto. I kind of doubt there will ever be a sequel, even if it would be pretty cool. It was good to see cameos by other well known X-Men (and Iron Man) in the final episode.

[C]: Hmm. This show was kind of strange in the end. Well, it was strange from the beginning, I suppose, but by the end it just kind of started to unravel a bit. Not that it was bad. it was still a hell of a lot of fun, with some interesting characters and some very impressive fight scenes. it just fell a little short of my expectations. I honestly think this the sort of show that would have worked better going 24 episodes instead of 11. Ah well, I'd still happily watch a sequel, though given the ending that seems just a little unlikely.

Hidan no Aria: A lot of people seem to give this show flack for being unoriginal. I think it all kind of comes together and works somehow, even if it does kind of embrace its cliches a little much. I really think the most interesting character in the show is Riko when it's all said and done. There's some real conflict in there. Aria's a great character too, and Kinji is a likable enough dude. Sure, it was a little rushed in places, and it could have been better. I'd still happily watch a sequel.

Sengoku Otome: The climax of this show was quite a bit better than I expected. it was really cool and intense and just really kind of worked, as simple as it was. You really do get a sense that Hideyoshi really mattered, and the feeling as they all part is just saddening. I question the ending. The talking dog was never explained and there he is in the end. Is this a sequel end? You know, I kind of hope it is. I want this show to do well. It still, in the end, reminded me of Koihime Musou. Koihime Musou only got better with subsequent seasons. I won't hold my breath that this will take off like Koihime Musou, but yeah, it would still be a nice thing to see.

Softenni: I really ended up liking this dumb ecchi sports comedy more than I could have ever thought. Likable, genuinely funny characters go a long way. Sure, it fails to make me interested in tennis, but I doubt that was ever the point. My biggest complaint is about the tennis team's, Asuha. That is the team member who joins just a few episodes before the end. It's not I don't like her, it's just she's not really funny. And dead sisters are depressing whether they look and act like demons or not. Far too tragic for this, the kind of show I watch to lighten my spirits. Her gimmick of talking to ghosts all the time is also just not a good one next to those of the other girls. Despite that, the show is still a winner and a second season would delight me.

A-Channel: This show is so fluffy I'm at a loss for what to say about it. Basically, it's not the shows that influenced it (Azumanga Daioh, Lucky Star, K-On!, etc) but it's still charming and does to an extent carve it's own place in the genre. This is in a large part due to Tooru, who is more likable and sympathetic than an obsessive lesbian stalker should be. I'd be happy to spend more time with these characters if given the chance.

The World God Only Knows II: This is one of those shows where I only really remember just how much I enjoy watching it while I'm actually watching it. There's nothing wrong with that though. It's a fun show. The characters are amusing , the comedy is funny, and the situations are well crafted. The show just does what it does well. I'm up for a third season.

Maria Holic Alive: This show really dragged in the middle. The final third really made up for that. Technically, I haven't finished it, as the 12th episode hasn't hit Anime Take yet, but it's just really pretty damn great. The characters are just hilarious, and SHAFT really knows how to use them well. The last episode I watched stands out, introducing Kanako's younger sister who fits in at her school far better than Kanako could ever dream and has a past with Mariya. It was just a lot of fun. And the second opening theme is practically unskippable for me. I would love a third season. I guess I understand if SHAFT wishes to apply themselves elsewhere though.

Deadman Wonderland: This series clearly comes from a very dark place. Sure, it lacks any sense of the word subtlety and that makes the despair it wants to create fall flat if you were to for some reason compare it to something like Madoka Magica. That doesn't matter though. The show simply put kicks ass. They rushed through a lot to cram so much into 12 episodes and it still doesn't really have an ending exactly. But yeah, the actions scenes are killer, the characters are well crafted and the world for all its blunt darkness is fascinating. It really seems to be setting up for a sequel, and considering anime king Funimation has already licensed it, I'm pretty sure it's well on its way to one.

Lotte's Toy: Naoya's confession bugs me a little. This show is kind of uncomfortable if he has any sort of romantic love for Lotte so I really wish that would have been better clarified. Still, even if that was a little less than firm in the end, the ending was still remarkably effective and emotional and really did kind of make me sad until the very happy last few moments. This really turned out to be a fascinating, lovely little series. I'd love to see a sequel where Lotte's mother and Naoya interacted more. Perhaps allow Lotte a chance to learn the truth. Again, I'm not going to expect anything, but that would be welcome.

Seikon no Qwaser: This is 12 episodes ,but I've only seen 10. The cut versions are out there, but I've yet to see the uncut versions pop up. This second season was really just kind of weird. The first six episodes had fairly interesting original story arc. After that it's all been really very silly and random and just bizarre and kind of a little stupid. I kind of like Seikon no Qwaser when it's like that though so it's all good. It's good to just turn your brain off and watch a girl fire a lazer out of her breasts sometimes, after all.

Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko: This is the winner. Yep. If I had to pick a show that started with the spring season and ended with the summer, that I liked best it would be this. Yes, another SHAFT show. I'm turning into a fanboy. This show really just works though. The character designs are almost too sweetly moe (which in my book is a good thing). The dialogs are wonderfully bizarre and elliptical. The writing is superb and the characters are just engaging. i kind of read it as a deconstruction of anime comedies like SHAFT's own Arakawa Under the Bridge, showcasing just really bizarre insane characters. That's not to say it's realistic, it's just smart. And ultimately it just made me really, really happy. I really have high hopes there will be a sequel to this one. I need more Meme.

Then there are the three carryovers that are only half done at this point. Interestingly enough, these are all three of my absolute favorites of the season.

Nichijou: Funny random show is funny and random. The character might not be as memorable as Lucky Star, but I think the joke are funnier (when thy don't completely fall flat, as they sometimes unfortunately do). Mai is a cast highlight; they've yet to explain why she hangs out with these two idiots, so I like to imagine she just really gets off on being a complete and total troll. The other true highlight is the Nano-Professor-Sakamoto combo. Their scenes rarely fail and are almost always the better parts of the episode. I am thrilled that Nano will be going to school in the second half. Nano + Mai is jut going to win. It's really kind of hard to get comedy anime much better than this. I am thrilled that I still have 12 or so eps left.

Tiger & Bunny: The silly name and kind of silly concept made me doubt this show a little, but really i shouldn't have. Sunrise have proven themselves to me time and again. I'd probably say SHAFT these days, but there was a time where they'd be the answer to my favorite anime studio. Dragon Kid is my favorite. She is adorable in every sense of the word. One thing that kind of bugged me just a little though is that their first major big threat super villain was a guy named Jake Martinez. I's be very surprised if I've never met a guy named Jake Martinez. It's just bland and not threatening. If he's not going to have some wicked alias, he should at least have a more interesting real name. But that's a small complaint in an other wise addictive show that I can't wait to see more of.

Steins;Gate: Wow. Er... um... Episode 12... This just went from a fascinating fun show about using time travel to change the world to fucking Madoka Magica or something. I mean, seriously. Okabe is Homura and Mayuri is Madoka. Gen Urobuchi must really love this plot device of having to loop time repeatedly to save someone when it comes to time travel in stories. Withe episode 12 the whole tone of the story seems to have shifted completely. And I love it. Oh, and Makise is hot. I think I'm going to buy the Figma of her next week. Yep. I love this show so much I'm going to buy merchandise from it before it's even completed. That should speak volumes.
