With the Winter season ending in just over a month, I suppose it's time to start looking ahead to Spring. We get these anime offerings:

A lot of shows. Very busy season. I'm probably going to end up trying most of them like I have the last couple of seasons. Since I was kind of bored today, here is how excited I am for everything coming up:

Nichijou - very excited. The latest from Kyo-Ani. Considering how much I love their other works, I have high hopes for their follow up to K-On!!
Sket Dance - might try it. An adaption of a popular shounen manga. The premise doesn't strike me immediately, but it's at least worth a shot.
C: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control - might try it. Seems to be an original anime. Concept is a little iffy for me, but original shows are at least worth a shot, I think.
Gintama' - pass. Didn't see earlier season.
Deadman Wonderland - very excited. I followed some of the manga of this back in my manga reading days a couple years back. It's an exciting, interesting action series. I'm glad to see an anime adaption.
Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko - Excited. I'm pretty much a SHAFT fanboy by this point. I will watch what they produce. This is a light novel adaptation, so I don't expect it to be the next Madoka, and I honestly don't know much about it. But it's SHAFT so I'm sure it will be worth watching.
Steins;Gate - Excited. based on a well received visual novel by the people who did Chaos;Head. Chaos;Head was far from a perfect anime, but I still watched and liked it. This sounds like it, like that work, has a strong, interesting concept. It should be good.
Hyouge Mono - probably a pass. Samurai are okay, and I don't know much about this, granted, but based on what I see this doesn't look like my sort of thing.
Yondemasuyo, Azazel-san - probably a pass. I like kinda wacky comedies sometimes, but this doesn't look like it's for me
Moshidora - probably a pass. Sounds at least somewhat interesting and the main character looks cute. But it starts well before the other Spring shows, so I can't see myself going out of my way for it.
Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai. - might give it a try. This sort of plot doesn't immediately interest me. I don't really know. It's an original anime, so not much to really go by.
Appleseed XIII - Excited. A Masamune Shirow work that was first adapted as successful films now with a full length anime series from Production IG. I can't help but be reminded of Ghost in the Shell. But I loved Stand Alone Complex, and I liked the Appleseed film and OVA, even if they weren't' particularly deep. This has a lot of potential.
Showa Monogatari- pass. An anime aimed at old people. I really don't see that appealing to me.
Kaji Season 2 - pass. Didn't see season 1.
Blue Exorcist - might try it. A shounen action manga adapted as an anime. Might be worth something. We'll see.
Toriko - probably a pass. It's a well received Weekly Shounen Jump manga... but I don't know... just doesn't sound like it would work for me. Largely because the wikipedia character list is notably light on female characters... which a shounen anime really needs for me.
Tiger and Bunny - moderately excited. Sunrise has produced stunning original works in the past (Code Geass, anyone?). It's actually been a while since the last. Details seem scarce for this project, and the title is a little... but still... Sunrise original, so I do have expectations off of that alone.
The World God Only Knows season 2 - excited. First season was fun, and this should be more of it. Yay.
Hanasaku Iroha - moderately excited. This seems to be an slice of life anime about cute girls. It also takes place in a hot spring... which might add to the fun... Might be great, might be boring. We'll see.
Maria Holic Alive - very excited. More Maria Holic = amazing. Seriously, the main characters are a lesbian and a trap. This show just works for me.
Fireball Charming - might try it. I'd probably have to look at the earlier season first though. From what I understand it's a short form series with two minute episodes. I don't really know much about it, but I see the cute robot main character's Figma all over ebay...
Sofuteni - might try it. Sports anime is kinda meh with me... and i have no interest what so ever in tennis. But a bunch of moe girls can make anything interesting. I have a little hope there...
Aria the Scarlet Ammo- might try it. A Light novel series featuring a cute pie-ish girl with twintails. Sounds promising, but it could also be less than great, we'll see.
A Channel - Excited. Seinen 4-koma school comedies featuring nothing but cute girls always work for me. This looks very promising.
Lotte no Omocha! - Excited (?). Wha? This isn't hentai? Well, the premise certainly sounds... intriguing. I guess all I can hope is that it doesn't turn out to be too trashy for me to bear...
Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai - probably a pass. An eroge adaption. The premise sounds bland and generic. Nothing tells me this will be a quality anime.
Hen Zemi - moderately excited. Female lead. Interesting sounding premise. Don't really know much, but it could be good.
30-sai no Hoken Taiiku - might try it. Sounds like it could be rather funny. Worth a look at least.
Dog Days - moderately excited. An original fantasy anime. Seems to have cute girls and a kind of shota-ish lead. Sounds promising.
Tono to Issho Season 2- pass. Didn't see season 1.
Dororon Enma-kun - pass. A remake of a really old anime. Doesn't sound like I'd really care so much for it.
Sengoku Otome - very excited. The premise of this just sells it to me. It's the well-worn modern day student goes back in time and meets historical figures. This time, it's Nobunaga and other Sengoku era warriors... but like Koihime Musou they're all hot chicks now for some reason. But what makes it even better is that the modern student character is also apparently a female. On paper this sounds amazing. I just hope the execution is good...
Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi - probably a pass. Sounds like another bleh eroge adaption... meh.
X-Men - moderately excited. I've been underwhelmed by Madhouse+Marvel so far. X-Men has a lot of interesting pre-defined characters though It seems like it would be easier to not screw up.. Plus..there are hot chicks in the X-Men...
Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi - pass. Not into yaoi.
Seikon no Qwaser II - Excited. More Katja!

Last two rows look like all shoujo and kids shows. They're all passes.

Wow, there are a lot of shows coming out in April... I actually hope some of this stuff gets delayed... right now it looks like too much...

There are 24 shows that I feel I should at least try...

Jewelpet Sunshine takes top priority, even over The Qwaser of Stigmata.

The characters look cute... but I don't think it's my sort of thing exactly...

And looking it up, there were two 52 episode anime series before this one... so yeah... not really even a possibility for me..

Of course; that is why it's exciting.

Sengoku Otome does sound fun too though.

But it isn't as though I would actually dislike any of this.

I have very high hopes for Sengoku Otome. In terms of premise, it might actually be the most enticing for me. I love shows featuring a cast of sexy female warriors.

Wow... I'm just speechless at Lotte no Omocha!

Other than that, seems like it should be a pretty good season. I know I have quite a few anime I definitely going to watch.

There'll be lots and lots of backlash, I expect... at least among American anime fans.

Yeah. Does sound like the kind of show ultra pie-sensitive American fans will despise.

Which will prove annoying if it's actually a good show...

I hate most American anime fans. They seem so sensitive, offended so easily.

Consider me stunned if it's actually a good show...

It could be. Might be more clever than it first seems. I'm not going to judge it too hastily.

They wanna finish before 2012?

April is my birthday, and they don't want me to be bored?

Monkeys pick the release date?

Any of theese could be the reason.
