Half-Life (For shooters)
Mario Kart 64 (For racing)
Civilization 2 (For strategy)
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines (For RPG)
I must have spent more than 10,000 hours on these games combined. _________________

God... there was a point where almost everyone in my family had an addiction to Civilization 2, me included. Fun game. I'm not much for Real time strategy, but a turn based strategy game can be pretty cool for me (though I think I was more into customization and custom scenarios than the actual game).
Mario Kart 4 was kind of fun too, I suppose. Didn't play the other two. _________________

I've actually haven't played Civ series in a while. I own Civ 2-4 and I'm planning on getting Civ 5 this Fall, but another series has completely consumed my soul. The Total War series.
Mixing my love of turn based strategy with the awesomeness of real time makes me cum in my pants. I was tempted to put Medivel II: Total War for my strategy pick, but the Civ series really got me into strategy in the first place. _________________

I think we got Civilization III, but I didn't really like it. There wasn't as much customization and stuff possible so it didn't really grab me. I drifted from the series after that. _________________

Heya, Akito. I'm considering getting a few next-gen games, if I get a console... _________________

i have a wii and xbox and ive played PS3
out of all the pros and cons id say xbox is the best and its not because i play it all the time i just think the xbox pays for it self after a while with all the games and entertainment
my wii is gavering dust i got it for 1 game and it end up being a japan release only game, but i bet the system by hacking the wii and downloaded it with a english translator in it so BEAT THAT NINTENDO!!! |

It pays for itself? But most people I know have had to buy at least three of them due to the technical issues with the system. That's a lot of paying it has to do.
Really, it comes down to the games you like, which is best. I can personally only think of one XBox 360 exclusive I wanted desperately to play but didn't get to. PS3 definitely gets more use than my Wii. _________________

Then you're pretty lucky. A lot of people go through an insane number of those things. And often they fail out of warranty, so it isn't as simple as sending it in for service. _________________
