Video Game OSTs are usually moumental.

The soundtrack of Fable sounds like Danny Elfman went English.

Turisas - One More.

Viking Folk Metal. This has a wonderful violin riff, and a powerful backing guitar. The drums hold it together nicely, and the vocals are beautiful.

I'm thinking of making it mandatory to post the URL and a brief description, so we can share music, and pick up new bands to enjoy!

Any comments on my idea?

I've been listening to Nintendocore. Specifically, Take A Spin Down Rainbow Road

Here's my favourite song by them, Cloud Strife:

Enjoy!

Third time's a charm.

Thanks to LenLen, I've taken interest in a chap called Parov Stelar.

It's basically Swing with an electronic beat behind it, I think.

Your opinions?

Yeah, that's essentially the gist of it. He's a pretty cool guy.
I'm also into electro-swing at the moment. Pretty much all of what I'm listening to lately is electronic. Euphoric trance, psytrance and dubstep, mostly.
This is currently one of my favourite songs, makes me really happy to listen to.

On that note, let's not forget Psysex.

I am unsure how much the album cover aids my newfound love.

I need to put more music on my iPhone. Any suggestions?
I currently only have pretty much everything by Modest Mouse, an album by The Pixies, a few Gregory And The Hawk albums, a couple of songs from The Darkness' "Permission To Land" album, Eliza Doolittle, Jamie Cullum and some hipster band.

I suggest some Mason Williams, a little Antoine Dufour, and maybe some Jean Baudin.

Seems legit. It'd be fun to chill to I guess. Also need some more upbeat stuff to press me to actually finish the journey to college every Monday morning. >.>

Then I also suggest a little Megadeth, some Hendrix, Daiki Kasho for upbeat music that blends into the background and makes you work, and perhaps a little speedcore for when the train is late.

That sounds good then.

I'm glad lyrics for "One More" are there. I didn't know it was English until seeing them. It sounds nicely heroic.

"Cloud Strife" is interesting. Soothing yet vicious.

"Chambermaid Swing" is certainly fun and catchy. It reminds me of a game I loved very much called The Neverhood. I should post some music from that sometime.

"Raven" by Do As Infinity. I really like this one. The lyrics wander, much like mine would if I wrote song lyrics. I'm not good with musical terms, so I don't know how to describe the playing, other than it relaxes me like most Do As Infinity songs do.

While not music, I have been listening to the audio drama Doctor Who: Spare Parts (I'm not sure where to discuss an audio drama since it was never a book or a film, and music is only a minor part, but I do listen to it).

I'm listening to "New Dawn" from the Fate/Stay Night soundtrack. I love it. It's very soothing and relaxing, fitting for the good endings, especially after all that has happened.
