Show off your figures here.

I know someone might get figures of characters from something other than anime, but this seemed the best fit for this thread.

The first I ever bought was Saber:

Today I got Kagami:

Kagami came with a bonus Misao head, so it's kind of like I got a Misao figure too (I love Misao...):

But I still only have one body, so I can't have them both at the same time. The best I can do is have yandere Kagami:

Kagami and Saber are different brands, Saber being Revoltech and Kagami being Figma. These are apparently the rival leaders in posable action figures in Japan. I had heard Figma was generally better unless you're going for mecha figures. Having one of each now, I'd concur. I love my Saber, don't get me wrong; the Figma (armor version) Saber could not have possibly been worth the extra $60, but Kagami comes with two faces (four if you count Misao's face and the blank face you can put stickers on) and five pairs of hands, as well as an infinitely superior stand. Granted, Saber was one Revoltech's first humanoid figures, so maybe they're newer ones are closer to the Figma standard. Here are Saber and Kagami together:

Surprisingly for rival figure brands, they're actually kind of compatible to an extent. Observe Misao Saber cosplay:

Kagami looks cute too:

And here's a new transfer student for Konata and the crew to greet...:

Finally, there's this:

No explanation is needed, I trust.

Phil, you win at life in so many ways for this thread.

Those are rather cute.

I considered showing my figures a while ago, but I'm bad with cameras. Something always goes wrong with a camera in my hands.

I don't even have a camera... I took these with my laptop camera, propping the figures up with textbooks so that they were on level with it (as you can likely see).

Which is why the photo quality is so poor...

Heh. Glad you think so. The last ones the best, isn't it?

I like Kagami holding Misao's severed head.

Last one is the most fun, but the Yandere Kagami was very amusing to me.

Also, the Saber transfer student may be a good plot device for some AU/crossover yuri fanfiction.

I like to pretend some horrific School Days-type scenario took place there.

I always wanted to reenact School Days with the cast of Lucky Star...

I thought about School days when I posed that shot...

I really don't see Kagami as remotely yandere though...

heh. I was surprised how good Saber looked in that uniform... It would be a good device...

Fate/Stay Night and Lucky Star is a sort of strange combination though.

Stranger than a cross over with Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. Both at least have magic and started as visual novels (although only barely in Nanoha's case).

Stranger things have been done.

I mean, I recall a Harry Potter fanfic entitled 'A Voldemort X Winky the House Elf Lemon'.

Wow... That's different...

Nanoha (from what I know of it) seems more reasonable to me for crossover with Fate/Stay Night.

It also seems more reasonable for a crossover with Lucky Star...

Oh...

Just looked it up. Didn't know about that...

I probably should watch Nanoha at some point...
