I have more but I cramped my hands up. I'll watch anything.
I lean more towards Shoujo and Shoujo-ai. I don't know any other guys that admit they love Shoujo the most, but I do so freely.

I've never really been one for shoujo anime personally. I've liked the josei anime I've seen though.

And obviously I'm there for shoujo ai.

Oh, and since you didn't make an intro topic yet, I'll say welcome to the site here.

I used to be strictly shounen watcher, but since coming to this forum, I've started to fall in love with Shoujo, Slice of Life and other things I wouldn't have looked at before.

I'm still mainly a Shounen kind of guy though. . .

You guys personally? None, but because I started to watch things like K-On and A-Channel as opposed to Dragon-Ball Z or Naruto. I decided to start different genres to see if I liked them.

A manga called Ayashi No Ceres caught my attention. I read it, loved it, and found out it was shoujo. Or it was in the Shoujo section of the sight I was using. either way.

The point I was making was that because of you guys I watch things that aren't shounen now. Like Madoka.

btw what is Gosick classified as? I'm curious.

Gosick is shounen.

But yeah, most of the other series you mention (K-On!/A-Channel/Madoka) are seinen.

And yeah, wikipedia does confirm that Ayashi no Ceres is shoujo.

I guess the only shoujo I'm currently watching is Suite PreCure. Which reminds me that I need to catch up on that.

I have some Shoujo in my collection more notably Fruits Basket and Saiunkoku. Ah my goddess is also in that catagory I think.

New favorites to add to the list now include 11 Eyes and Rin.

Seinen manga is manga aimed at males 20-30 (with some titles aimed at even older audiences). As opposed to shounen: manga aimed at males 10+, shoujo: manga aimed at females 10-18 and josei: manga aimed at females 15-44.

Wikipedia (where I got all those numbers) does mention that seinen manga are sometimes confused for shoujo.

I thought Seinen was common grounds for Ecchi?

No, not all. Puella Magi Madoka Magica is seinen when published as manga.
