I've love to hang out with the K-On! girls in their sleeping bags.
Especially Mugi...

Awesome.
I wonder if they cut out any fanservice in the anime... _________________

I never even glanced at the manga for K-On!
It's not a series really about fanservice to me. Seems unnecessary for the most part. _________________

I doubt that. Does anyone cut service from English versions of anime any more? Well, there might be that 4Kids Entertainment, and Funimation Entertainment claimed they would censor Dance in the Vampire Bund, but I heard they decided not to with the outcry over that (people really like naked vampire pies I suppose). _________________

Funimation doesn't typically censor (nor do any other major distributors). But lolicon is a very sensitive issue over here. Naked pie is one of the few things that still might get censored.
4 Kids is pathetic and on a sure, gradual path toward bankruptcy. _________________

Yeah. I can't say I care for 4 Kids.
I think they handled the Pokemon anime adequately. For the most part at least.
Beyond that, they failed completely.
The company about single-handedly ruined One Piece's chance of being embraced by American audiences in anywhere near the way it is in Japan. _________________

I think I may try it...
Don't like soe of the art style, but the guy with three swords looks beyond awesome. _________________

I think it's like more popular than Naruto in Japan. _________________

I heard on TV Tropes that recent 4Kids dubs are more faithful. I don't know what those dubs are though.
It is amazing how One Piece failed to get a wide audience in English-speaking territories considering the entire rest of the world loves it. I am almost glad though; One Piece fans are among the most arrogant and obnoxious I have encountered. Many constantly tell you that One Piece is the greatest boy's manga in history and all others are crap beside it. They take after the Dragon Ball fans in that regard. _________________

I didn't think they still dubbed things. Every time I read an article on Anime News Network about them it seems to be about them losing money.
That's what a horrible localization can do, I suppose.
I hate when people get arrogant like that about a series.
One Piece was strongly influenced by Dragon Ball from what I've heard, so it's kind of interesting that they're fans are similar. _________________
