I'm not sure I saw that one as much. I only got part of the way through the second half before I dropped the show.

I liked it too. I didn't drop it because of that.

I just kind of have this thing for longer anime where I often lose interest after the first half because I'm more excited for the newer series that are starting at the halfway point. I fall behind on shows like that and if I don't absolutely love them, I"ll often drop them.

I'm even currently multiple episodes behind on Index, and you know how I like that.

On that subject, most of what I'm watching this time is single season stuff. It's just Gosick and Beelzebub that look to be continuing onward...

Gah... Watched the stuff that came out today... I almost don't even feel like talking about IS or Fractale... they just almost feel irrelevant.

And that's kind of surprising since it was a rather good episode of Fractale. Really, i was. Some intriguing new characters were introduced. Phyrne randomly stripped and provided a pretty good ass shot. There was some definite intrigue and all that. It was a thoroughly solid episode.

IS was interesting too. Laura officially joins the harem... great... Still, she remains cute and is still my favorite. I don't understand her motivations at all really, but whatever. I'm kind of disappointed Charlotte can't even try to be a reverse trap anymore too. But yeah, it wasn't bad.

But it's Madoka that is the only thing on my mind right now. it's a rare anime that can affect me so greatly, fill me with this hollow feeling of despair as I watch everything crash down for the characters involved. God... this show... it's almost too much. So beautiful. Kyuubey... just Kyuubey... I don't know what was more horrifying, what Homura did to him, or what he did to himself after that... or, wait, yes I do... it was definitely the latter (can we say nightmare fuel?) I kind of expected the end twist from early on but it was well executed. Sayaka... I'm really afraid for poor Hitomi.... On another note, Homura was super moe in this episode....Oh, and Kyouko's awesome. She was kind of introduced as the dark magic girl, but now I kind of see her as the most normal, rational of them all. I wonder if that's intentional or watching the show's just affected my values somehow... But yeah, this was probably the best episode since the infamous third one...

I think I'll watch a couple Index eps to take my mind off all this before I go to bed...

Madoka really is poised to become my favorite anime ever.

The main difference would have been that the cast would have been stuck in the nightmarish world that is transforming the orphanage.
