Zombies, from reality to fantasy, I want to hear your takes on them.
Your favourite and most frantically failing films including these flesh munching beasts.
From the first Hollywood Zombie to the Fast and light on their feet 28 days/weeks later monsters, tell us your likes and dislikes _________________ "There is Honour in Fighting to The Last Breath . . .

Hmm. I'd say my favorite zombie movies are Planet Terror, Shaun of the Dead, Zombieland and Plan 9 From Outer Space.
Yeah, I guess I like it done more in a humorous/campy sort of way. I actually haven't seen too many serious zombie films. _________________

I love Shaun of the Dead! Some of my other favorites would have to be Dawn of the Dead (personally, I liked the remake better), the Evil Dead movies (I think that counts. I'm referring to all three of them), Dead Alive, and 28 days/weeks later. _________________

I like zombie films that try to be serious. Comedy-oriented zombie films were a good novelty for a while (like The Return of the Living Dead , Braindead, and Shaun of the Dead), but there are too many now. Most failed serious zombie films (Zombi 3, Zombie Creeping Flesh, Nightmare City, The Nights of Terror, and Plan 9 from Outer Space) tend to be funnier than most of the intentionally funny ones.
That said, I will be watching my favorite zombie films for the Day of the Dead today. _________________

If im honest, Im very picky when it comes to Zombie films.
Admitedly Zombieland was good because the details and graphics on the zombies was quite good however in Land of the dead etc a zombie grabbing a shotgun Kinda made me lose hope in zombie films.
My Personal favourite zombie films are; Shaun of the Dead and Zombie land.

Planet Terror is worth watching. Wonderfully outrageous.
I'm not so huge into the genre myself, actually, so I can't name many others. Especially not if you want zombie movies that take themselves seriously.
Plan 9 From Outer Space is just classic though. _________________

If you are into reading/books I can suggest some of those?
To start Max Brook's "The Zombie Survival Guide" and "World War Z" (both released and should be read in that order) one set as a guide in case of attacks :p and the other is a record of after the outbreak of the virus discussed in the first book and the zombie war on humanity
Eden by Tony Monchinski telling the story of one of the last human colonies on earth during zombie occupation.
That's all I've got really, and of course the HTOD manga books that are being released in English. _________________ "There is Honour in Fighting to The Last Breath . . .
