I'm now watching The Deadly Monster. The creature effects are great for such a low budget.

I'm now watching the Torchwood episode "Countycide", perhaps my favorite of series, especially since I had to travel through the Welsh countryside at night once and I could only think of this episode as I did.

I think I've seen that before. Remind me?

Some people disapear in the Welsh countryside, so Torchwood goes out to see what alien is killing people this time. They find a deserted village, and after Toshiko and Ianto get captured by something, Toshiko finds a lot of old shoes on a shelf and a freezer full of human body parts. No aliens this time; the villagers just like to eat people.

If only a chain-saw had been involved; then it could have been "The Welsh Chain-Saw Massacre", although I imagine it was Sawney Bean providing the main inspiration.

I saw the first episode of series 2 of Green Lantern: The Animated Series, introducing Guy Gardner, the Manhunters, and what appeared to be the Anti-Monitor, the most powerful villain in the DC Universe (although Nekron might have eclipsed him by now).

Such a shame I have to say that I watched Doctor Who: The Dĉmons now instead of one post earlier; then this would be post number 666 for the thread. Instead I must settle for post number 667.

I watched Les Misérables today. I wept at the end.

I'm now watching Gravity Falls. I'm glad new episodes are coming soon.
